Tempasure was great - responsive and timely and they fixed our furnace. I highly recommend them. Len responded to my call immediately and was on site in less than 24 hours to inspect and repair. If it was an emergency - he made it clear he could be there immediately. Luckily our situation was not urgent, but glad to know we are well taken care of .

I can’t express my gratitude enough for the expertise, professionalism and customer service we received from Len and Adam!

With a 15 year old furnace (that was never the right size for our house), we knew we were on borrowed time...

We had received astronomical quotes from different suppliers 8 months prior. Most with steep rental or maintenance contract fees.

During the cold spell that broke a 57 year record in Toronto, our furnace started making noises we never heard before and I was frightened. Len is one of only 2 suppliers who returned my call! Within 24 hrs Adam came to give us an assessment and to our surprise, we had options! Options that were affordable - as affordable as HVAC options can be.

Before we were able to make a decision our furnace ceased on a Friday at 4 pm when the expected overnight low was -25.

I called Len. While on vacation (out of the country I might add) Len arranged for us to have a new Furnace the very next day, at no extra cost! Furthermore, Len arranged to have heaters delivered to us. We were comfortable despite no furnace on one of the coldest days on record!

We also bought a new water heater, to save on monthly rental fees and Len returns our old one to save us money!

We are warm, the furnace is quiet and efficient and while HVAC never a sexy household expense, we are so thankful to Len and Tempasure and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

Quick clean install of whole house humidifier for 1500sqft home. The team was easy to talk to, responsive and knowledgeable. Job was a breeze for them.

Furnace stopped working late at night during a cold spell. We were able to contact the company that night and they were incredibly thorough and helpful with their inquiry. Problem was solved the next day. Excellent customer service.

I was two days without heat. Len was on vacation and worked long distance to find a solution, even after the delivered part was stolen off my front porch. It was a terrible situation made better by his team’s dedication to solve the problem.

We had Mega City in last year for ‘yearly maintenance’ and they took our money without mentioning the fact that our furnace didn’t have the proper filter or that it was installed incorrectly (likely by them).

Len was a total professional and delight. He was quick to respond to calls and texts with answers and suggestions. Our furnace died on a Thursday and he was able to have our new one installed the following Monday. He even dropped off space heaters for us to use free of charge before our new furnace was installed. Those allowed us to stay in our house over a cold weekend. Good installer was also highly professional, courteous and too time to explain the new furnace and installation process. After working with several different furnace repair and install companies, I can say that these guys are a real cut above the rest!

With winter fast approaching I searched HomeStars for a reputable furnace company to inspect/clean the furnaces at two properties, one our own (furnace 15 yrs old) and one rented (furnace 4 yrs. old), just to ensure there would be no problems this winter like unfortunately we had 4 years ago. TEMPASURE Heating and Air Conditioning stood out, the reviews were very positive so I called Len Minuk (the owner) two weeks ago on Wednesday Dec 6th. He immediately answered the call and said he could fit me in the latter part of the following week. To help in advance should he need any basic replacement parts I emailed Len the name/model/serial nos. and installation date for the furnace/humidifier and gas hot water heater for both properties.

Timing is everything! With appointments set for Len to visit the properties, four days later, the furnace at our property suddenly acted up and wasn’t maintaining heat in the house. Called Len that evening and he kindly managed to fit us in for an inspection the next day. He thoroughly checked the furnace and with a camera showed me a heat exchanger air leak (caused by a missing rivet ring) which appeared to be causing a high temp sensor to prematurely shut down the furnace. Since it was an unsafe operating situation (combustion gases could possibly leak into the house hot air supply) under his gas licence he had to immediately shut off the gas supply to the furnace. Now we had no heat in the house except for two gas fireplaces and the temperature outside was -9c! Len however, kindly also provided us with two electric heaters free of charge. We discussed some options and feeling under no pressure (common sense) we both felt the best option was to replace the furnace. An important point to note was Len noticed (correctly) that our existing furnace (100,000btu) was significantly oversized for our 1,800 sq, ft. bungalow. I was concerned however that the 60,000btu furnace Len was suggesting might be insufficient to properly heat the house (thought an 80,000btu furnace might be better) but Len assured me it would be better suited and I accepted his advice.

Len immediately fitted us in, ordered a new furnace (High Efficiency American Standard 60,000btu) and within 3 days Adam (his installer) had fully completed the work. Adam too was highly knowledgeable about gas furnaces and the other gas equipment (gas whole house hot water boilers and hot water tank heaters) has known and worked with Len in the industry for over 14 years and has been full time with Len for the past approximately 5 years. Felt both Len and Adam were highly professional at all times and very knowledgeable and honest about the options/costs. In the end felt the final furnace charge was fair and that Adam’s installation work was excellent. A great job! Adam protected the hallways, work area and completely cleaned up afterwards. And, after a week I feel our house with the 60,000btu furnace is maintaining the house at a more even temperature compared to in past years the 100,000btu furnace. Len was right to go with a 60,000btu furnace.

Regarding the furnace in the rented property, it was fine. I would recommend TEMPASURE Heating and Air Conditioning to family and friends and will definitely come back to the company if we have any future needs. Thanks Len and Adam.
