Matt refinished our floors at the beginning of a long one year project. Not his fault he was hired so early--- that was on our Contractor. However he was happy to take the better part of payment for the job and then would not come back to complete it as it had been a year of hard traffic paid him over $19,000 (his bill) so be weary to do a good hold back on this company.

Matt installed the flooring for our basement reno and did a great job. He has an amazing attention to detail and he was a joy to work with. An excellent communicator, Matt would always show up to our house when he said he would, and kept us up to date on any issues he found. I highly recommend Matt and MAB Hardwood Flooring.

If you want the best, you want Matt and his team on your project. He gave us great advice and his knowledge, craftsmanship, and quality are second to none. Pride and skill are evident in his work. We had 3 other flooring specialists, a structural engineer, and a home renovation team look at our floor to find out what was wrong with it, both time consuming and expensive, and it wasn't until Matt came to look at it that it was properly diagnosed. He was able to diagnosis it during the initial consult and provide us with options to fix it. Very professional, worked with our budget, delivered on time and kept us in the loop. Matts' pride in his work shows through in the quality of the work. We renovated the main floor, up the stairs and into the bedrooms. The workmanship on the stairs and throughout the rest of the floor is top notch. I had a really hard time picking my hardwood and Matt was patient and professional. MAB Hardwood Flooring exceeded my highest expectations. This is because of their high-quality workmanship coupled with professional execution. Matt was only satisfied when he found an exact match for the kitchen and eating area hardwood (that needed to match the extant flooring in the adjoining dining and living rooms). This was no small feat considering the new floor was installed about 8 years after the living/dining room floors.
Matt also levelled the eating area floor and clad a brand new 12 foot step that now adjoins the kitchen eating area and the family room. (Before and after photos are attached.)
