In your case, we were able to determine that roots from a large tree hade entered the original Big-O drain tile and grown to create a substantial blockage over many years. This blockage caused the back-up of water and ingress into your basement. Our crew excavated an area to a depth of approximately 7' at the front of your home and removed the infested pipe to replace with new PVC. Water now flows around your home, to the sump, and onto the municipal storm connection.
