Ather came for our annual furnace maintenance. As always he did an excellent job, he is very thorough and takes the time to explain to me what he is doing and any recommendations he might have for us. We have been working with Cosmopolitan for nearly a decade now and I have nothing but good things to say about them and Ather in particular.

Mr. Mehfooz did an excellent job, communicated well and gave good recommendations. I would ask for the same technician in the future. He is very clean and organized. Thank you.

I called Cosmopolitan recently to have someone check out my furnace and AC. Mehfooz arrived on schedule and patiently and thoroughly did his work. I say patiently because the flame sensor in my furnace is very difficult to access. He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. He also replaced a defective disconnect switch at the AC.

I had a technician from Cosmopolitan come out and do an annual check-up on my 2 year old Lennox furnace and air conditioner units. Mehfooz, the technician, was extremely thorough, courteous and very professional. I would recommend him to anyone needing this type of service.

Mehfooz was very polite and friendly. He called to confirm what time he would be here first thing in the morning so it wasn't just a window of 2 hours. He explained everything he was doing and instructed us how to the proper way to maintain our filters. When it is time for the furnace check I hope Mehfooz is the tech they send again.

After paying thousands of dollars for a brand new furnace only a few years ago and paying for annual maintenance with this company our furnace broke down this afternoon. This is despite paying to have it serviced not even two months ago and being told the furnace was running well and complete check had been done. Now on the night of a blizzard with temps dropping to below minus 10 we have no furnace and no heat and no help. I live in a home with two small children and two seniors, all now facing a night with no heat and freezing temperatures thanks to this company. We have had to call 3 times to even get any kind of response which for what its worth that they will send someone by noon tomorrow. What am I supposed to do with my family in the meantime? What was I paying for exactly when I had it serviced. Forget good business practices, just basic human decency would not allow someone to leave 2 babies to spend the night in a freezing home and not offer some kind of help or solutions. Will not be using this company from now on for any of my heating or cooling needs. Terrible experience and customer service!!

Bought a furnace from Cosmopolitan 2 years ago. Found a leak from within the unit. Called and booked an appointment with Ather who came out in his usual timely manner and fixed the issue promptly.

A technician came to my house on aug 26,2016 and did a maintenance on the furnace and air conditioner. He had also performed a service on a furnace and air conditioner at a previous home I lived in. This time he didn't clean out my furnace interior like the first time we met or check if all the vents were pushing out the same airflow as he did previously. He noticed a rust on the pipe and electrical
box in the unit and said a bolt was not
tightened right. After fixing it he told me
problem was solved and keep an eye
out for anymore rust or water spots. 2
weeks later I noticed the rust worsened
and the outside of the unit had rust and water pooled on top. I followed the exhaust pipe up and noticed it was
slowly dripping and rusting a bolt on the outside of the unit. After telling him, he
told me he would fix it or somebody else would from the company. No further
follow up was done up to now. I called cosmopolitan and they said it would be another $99 to send somebody to diagnose the problem. Quality of service has gone downhill and responsiveness
of the company and staff is terrible. This
should have been a complimentary
return to fix as the problem was discovered on maintenance and never
fixed properly. I will never use this
company again and will not refer
anybody to them either.

Made a service call on Monday for an appointment on Tuesday, but called later to say that they couldn't make it until Wednesday. They came in Wednesday, but didn't have the part. The tech was nice, but said that he didn't have the part and would charge again for a second appointment. Called Thursday to say that he couldn't make it until Friday. Eventually got the furnace fixed by Friday. Looks like they use another company called Thermal Techs, judging by the phone number that called.

We have an aging furnace and tankless hot water heater. Most service technicians would say, out with the old and in with the new. But instead, Ather from Cosmopolitan, tells us that with regular maintenance this infrastructure should last for several more years. He also gives us advice on routine maintenance that will extend the lifespan of these appliances.

Also appreciate Ather's problem solving ability and willingness to jump into any project. While our Halloween owl's speaker no longer works, the noise activated lighted eyes and head movement still scared the crap out of little kids collecting Halloween treats at our door. One of them got so scared that they pushed the owl off the stairs and into our garden! Excellent service and attention to detail. Thanks again.
