Have used them for many reupholstering jobs: couch, mid-century modern teak chairs and most recently our outdoor furniture set. Very tough pattern of Sunbrella fabric. Finished cushions look AMAZING, speedy and friendly service, worked some awesome magic with these cushions. Highly recommend!!!

We received excellent service when we took our 6 kitchen chairs to be reupholstered. We had another quote which was about $400 more! We needed to have one chair repaired and the job was excellent. I have another chair I would like upholstered and I will certainly bring it back to Alo. Excellent work and easy to talk to. Helped us with our decision as to what fabric was better. We are very happy.

I have worked with Darong and Peng Ou of Alo Upholstery on several occasions. On one end of the spectrum, they have refinished and revitalized an entire Estate worth of delicate and sentimental antiques for me before, and on the other end they created a beautiful bed from scratch for me with wild and vibrant fabric for my home. Their upholstery work is good quality and they are very fair with their pricing. Moreover, they drop off and pick-up.

I walked in off the street because they were in my area of Forest Hill. They were very helpful with advice in choosing fabric. Darren came over and suggested ways he could make my sofa bed more modern looking. He has a good eye. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the result. Their workmanship was excellent. I'd like to thank everyone who recommended ALO Upholstery. I've been searching for 5 years for an upholsterer that I could trust to reupholster my dining room chairs. Darren and his father and their team surpassed EVERY expectation I could possibly have! I've renovated my house from the studs and rafters and so have worked with many contractors. ALO are one of the best contractors I've worked with! Darren is absolutely consciencous about ensuring that he communicates with you and provides you with ALL of the information you need to make an informed decision. He and his dad take absolute pride in their work -- which is a rare quality. I haven't stopped admiring my dining room since they delivered the chairs and wish I had the words to express how awe-struck I am. I know a good contractor by how excited they are about their work and Darren and his dad and their team were excited about this. Pictures say more than words do so I'll let you judge for yourself.
