When we opened our doors in 1989, Founder and Master Plumber, Jeff Wright set out with the goal of helping homeowners in the greater Toronto area with their residential plumbing needs. Several years after we started The Great Plumbing Co., industry was booming in the GTA and we saw an even greater need outside the residential plumbing space. Thus, we shifted our attention to provide general contracting for local business owners. Fast forward to 1999 when we took the opportunity to become involved with the city’s development, providing CCTV inspection and cleaning of large diameter sewers.

Repairs to washing machine valves

I called the Great Plumbing Company, and their admin answered quickly. She was friendly, and set up an appointment quickly for me within a three hour window. The plumber, Jeff, showed up, and explained the work that needed to be done and how much it would cost. He worked quickly and professionally, and when he went to shut off the home's main water, he noted it could use replacing over the next year or two, since it was original to the house (which was built in the 1920s) and it was very difficult to turn off. There was no pressure from him to fix it at that point, but he wrote up a clear estimate for it.

I'd definitely recommend the company: great communication, on time, and work was done well.

I have never left an online review like this before but felt compelled to do so in case someone is wavering on using Jeff and The Great Plumbing Co. or is hesitant about picking a plumber without a personal recommendation (like me!). Without a doubt, all the reviews are accurate! This is how I picked Jeff to work with! He is indeed is a stellar plumber! I replaced my aging toilet in my condo, and Jeff was extremely patient with me as I asked many questions to understand the process and purchase, as well as offered advice. He was punctual and considerate of taking of my home. I never once doubted his talents. His level of expertise and professionalism gave me peace of mind, and I know I don't need to question anything pertaining to my service. He is worth every penny! In fact, I know I found a plumber for any upcoming needs. I would, in all good faith, recommend him to family and friends!

Jeff showed up on time to my home and explained to me what the issue was with my toilet and the part that needed to be replaced. He explained how his pricing works and explained to me my options for fixing the issue. He was friendly and I would use his services again.

bath tub water crossover

Plumbing review in Richmond Hill

My condo unit has a crossover issue so I called The Great Plumbing Co.
Jeff was on time and discussed about different options in fixing a Kohler shower cartridge. Although the building is taking over the investigation now (since more units are reporting same issue), I want to take this opportunity to say that unlike other plumbers, Jeff's thoughts starts from owner unit (me) and also my tenant and not maximizing their own profit.

The replacement was quick and he left the work area clean.
