Dayside Industries is located in Brantford, Ontario. I contracted a full home replacement of vinyl windows and patio door. Purchase experience was good with the owner working with me to address a noise issue on one side of the house with a custom solution. Only a small downpayment was required. I had received several quotes and the quality of the product was comparable to others in that price range. The labour warranty was not as good as some other companies (but a warranty is only as good as the company your dealing with). Installers are company employees and did a good job especially the inside trim finish. Installation took longer than expected, a combination of being too busy and being meticulous. One issue was the rear patio door screen. It was not what was in the showroom as the supplier had changed the design and I was not satisfied with the new style. It was replaced to my satisfaction but it took a bit of time. This company is worthy of being considered when you get your quotes.

What could this company do to improve their services?: Hire sufficient installers to keep up with demand and adhere to timelines a little better. Address complaints in a more timely manner and communicate with any delays.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?: If you have an issue like noise make sure you mention it and see what the contractor comes up with. Do research on the different styles of windows as well as the different treatments that go on the windows (affects sun/heat transmission). Consult the government energy rating sites. Only sign a detailed contact including cleanup, tarps on the floor for boots, damage repair responsibilities.
