We were very pleased with the professional service provided by one of their technicians, Chris. He came out on an emergency call. He was prompt and was able to piece the door together so that we could use it again. He returned to replace the door and he took the time to explain many things about the door. He also made an adjustment so that the door now runs quieter. He does an excellent job and he is a great employee. We were more than pleased with the service from Creative Door.

Save yourself a heartache and do not ever use Creative Door,Edmonton for any commercial projects. The customer service is appalling, the lack of professionalism is very vivid. They make promises they cannot keep, installation dates that they cannot keep and/or do not show up for (multiple occasions), internal as well as external communication seems to be non existent between the different company departments. The staff in general and ignorant and oblivious to the fact that there are bad reviews all over the internet about them similar to this.

When you are about to spend thousands of dollars with a company you expect some mutual respect, but your told to " relax, we will be there " by the sales guy when you try to get them to commit to an installation date - which they didn't show up for, is this how you should conduct business? Absolutely not,but i guess they never received the memo.
If you are looking for a hassle free, interact-able, pleasant, on time, reliable company to install some equipment for you, look elsewhere.
They have an endless number of excuses that never make sense and sometimes they do not even have an excuse and you are passed over to someone in a different department who may be able to offer you an excuse.
Our company will never be using Creative Door Edmonton Ltd. again, they just lost themselves a lot of commercial business.

We phoned this company at 5pm one evening last week. Our garage door wouldn't open.my car was inside.The lady was very helpful.she told my husband what the problem was,the cost and said that someone would be there between 10 and 11am.He was there at 10.10 and the job was finished by 11am. this I consider to be excellent service !!

The service was provided when it was promised. The work was done well and cleaned up after the job was done. I will hire them again if the need arises.

This past summer, the spring in our automatic garage door snapped causing the heavy door to abruptly fall hard to the ground, narrowly missing our guest. I contacted Creative Doors in Delta and they were very friendly and quick to come to our home and replace the spring. Customer service was quite helpful and pleasant. The only issue we had was the rep calling to confirm our credit card number twice as she had written it down wrong. Still Meghan was very pleasant so it didn`t bother us much. We went over the numbers and a confirmation email was sent by their office confirming the charge was placed and thanked us for service.

3 MONTHS LATER- we get a phone call from a manager from this company stating that they charged the wrong person for the repair and require payment 'now'. Stating it was not "their fault" it took the other persons credit card company 3 months to dispute the charge. My husband has tried 3 times to contact this company to discuss this issue and each time he has been placed on hold for extended periods of time or the call has been dropped.
I would NOT recommend this company.
Very Unsatisfied Customer.

We have been waiting for garage door and mechanism 3 months! It was orderd via Rona from this company in May, they measured and took the payment fast, and set the installation date July 5. No show, no contact, nothing. I called July 25, installation was promised on August 6. No show, no contact again. I called and the installation was set on September 11. Unbelivably poor customer service! Below any standards!

I called Creative Door to have them fix my overhead garage door. They took my credit card number to confirm the appointment. They wouldn’t give me a time, just an 8 hour window between 11 am and 7 pm. As a result, I had to take ½ day off work. Their service technician didn’t come to our house until 6:50 pm (so I took the time off for nothing) and when he arrived he simply said there was a broken gear. Despite the fact it was a common problem he didn’t have the part on his truck so he said I’d have to book another appointment. His visit lasted less than 10 minutes and he didn't seem interested in helping since it was close to the end of his shift. I called Creative Door the next day and they gave me a quote to replace the door opener that was higher than their competitors plus it included an additional $60 for the “diagnostic visit”. I was able to find another company to replace the opener. Two weeks later I received a bill in the mail from Creative Door for $60 related to the diagnostic visit and my credit card had been charged. I called them to say their service technician hadn’t done anything but tell me my door was broken, something I already knew. I’d booked an appointment to have my door fixed and I didn’t think it was right they should charge me for something they didn’t do especially since it wasn’t my fault they didn’t have the right part on their truck. The lady at Creative Door told me that was too bad but it was their policy to charge for diagnostic visits. I sent an email to their corporate site but received no response.

Our garage door mechanism broke making it impossible to move the door. Creative Door was able to come out to fix it within 48 hours of our call (would've come sooner if I requested it as an "emergency"). The repair was done in less than 30 minutes. The employee was able to show me the problem with the wires and also recommended a replacement of both spools to avoid a similar problem in the near future. The employee was pleasant and professional.
