We were really please with the team from Maritime West Construction- on time (early actually), beautiful fence, helpful advice and cleaned up afterwards. Will use them again for future projects.

They were able to adapt the gazebo design to fit and complement my patio space. They left the space clean and tidy too.

I can't sing enough praise for team at Maritime West. They were a breath of fresh air when we were getting estimates, so easy and matter of fact. There wasn't any fluff or confusion with any part of the process. They showed us our unique design in 3D design so we knew what to expect and they delivered that expectation with no hidden surprises. We've been so happy with the finished product, it's been about 6 months and the deck has had zero issues. Thank you for your hard work. We wouldn't hesitate to use you again or refer you to family and friends.

We are truly grateful for all of Rob and his teams help in getting our deck built. It took us almost 2 years to find a contractor that could do what we needed using the composite decking, as we were building a deck around a hot tub…screw piles, electrical, lighting, railing and gates…and last but not least helping us in getting our gazebo put together…our deck is fabulous…Thank You!

Rob and his crew at Marine West Construction built the 2.5 meter cedar fence we share with our neighbours plus both our alley side fences. We are so happy with the quality of the work. The fences are very straight and well constructed. We like the meticulous cuts and detailing , with the cedar lateral boards nicely placed to take advantage of the beauty of the wood grain. We purchased the wood ourselves this spring - 5/4 “ x 6’ “magnum cedar decking”, and felt that Rob gave us a very fair price on the labour. We had a specific design we wanted, and Rob’s liaison person, Shane, worked with us to ensure the fence would be built to our exact specifications. We really appreciated the time and effort Shane spent to ensure we would get the exact fence we wanted.

The project took 3 days total and began on time. The workers were skilled, and respectful of our perennial beds, not disturbing any more ground than was necessary. Rob listened to all our concerns and addressed everything. His crew uses materials wisely so there is very no wastage. This is the second fence Rob built for us. I wish to emphasize that Rob acts with integrity and honesty, and is an excellent problem solver. We feel lucky to have found such a good contractor. Thank you, Rob.

On a recent trip to Timber Town to look for Composite Decking Materials, types, colours, etc. Maritime West were there constructing their Showroom Deck Display. I met Rob there at the time and we were able to set up a time for him to stop by for an Estimate. We agreed to the number in order to secure material costs due to the volatility in the market. The scope of work involved was to rip out basically two rotting decks, one with a vinyl finish installed on top of a cedar one which in itself was installed on ground level within retaining walls. The existing glass railing was to be removed and reinstalled on the new composite deck. Rob and his awesome crew of Cam, Tammy, Chris, and Jay showed up on time and started the demo and had it removed in a few hours. The glass in the Railing was meticulously removed and the Railing itself removed all in one 32ft length and set aside for reinstall. What I thought as going to be zip it out, zip it in on the existing retaining wall was completely different when opened up. After 30 plus years parts of the wall and posts were rotted and unable to support the new Deck. Rob was able to get and install five new Screw Piles within a few hours the same first day. Also 3 - 4 dozen five gallon pails of dirt had to be removed to accommodate the new structure which was all built the first long day. All this however unseen, was professionally taken in stride as part of the job. The TimberTech Deck installation the next day was done with craftsmanship (and craftwomanship for Tammy), precision, and with great attention to detail. The new skirting and new step were installed along with the Railing and glass reinstalled. The Deck is solid, looks great, and the work is second to none. Maritime West with Rob and his Crew was a pleasure to deal with and is everything all these rave and 10 / 10 reviews confirm.

The guys were great to work with and were on time and professional. They left a clean worksite and the deck looks AWESOME! Would recommend them to anyone and will use them again.
