Each night I could hear an animal walking on my roof or possibly in my attic. I had contacted 2 Wildlife companies via their websites at 11:30pm and only Louie from A-1 Checkmate Wildlife returned my call which was the very next morning first thing. Later that day Louie came out and did his inspection. He was very kind, informative and WAS NOT the pressuring sale man at all! He was very honest in what I need and what I didn't. He did everything I asked of him. He was even so kind to inform me of a small issue I had with the roof. I would recommend him to everyone!

I noticed a raccoon on my roof. After that we heard a recurrent noise in the attic. I checked with couple of my friends who had a similar problem and apparently they had a bad experience with some companies in the market and did not recommend them for me. I picked up the phone number of Louis LaRose of A-1 checkmate Wildlife Removal and Prevention. He explained what needs to be done to solve the problem and the cost of the work. He came on time, well equipped. Checked the roof and then found the site of raccoon entry. He went into the attic and removed 5 babies of the raccon. Fixed a 1 way door for the raccoon to get out and not back in. He put the babies outside the house for the mom to find them later. The next day the raccoon found it's babies and took them away. Louis came back after couple of days to check the work and to be sure the problem was solved. His fees were very reasonable. I feel very satisfied with the work done and the cost of it. I would definitely recommend him for any one with similar problem.

Louis is a great guy, very honest and helpful. We had problems with racoons, birds and other animals getting into the attic and garage. He was able to remove all the animals and secured our home and we haven't had any problems since. I would highly recommend his services.

I noticed a small skunk with a plastic loop caught around its neck in my back yard. Louis of A-1 Checkmate Wildlife Removal & Prevention came to the house very promptly and the skunk was caught within 2 hours! He took it to a wildlife centre for treatment, as it had infection in its neck from the plastic loop. Set the traps, then came back several times to check on them, and then removed the caught babies to a safe wildlife habitat where they can grow up safe and sound, and away from people.

We are most satisfied with Louis work. He has been here several times as we have some particularly persistent chipmunks and red squirrels getting into the house. We have to admit that we're not helping the problem ourselves. We do feed the cute little guys and then they pay us back by trying to get into our house. Why are we so impressed with Louis then? Because he keeps coming back, finding the new spot they've chewed through (right now their favourite seems to be the drywall in the garage), making sure they can't get in there again--and he doesn't charge us any extra for that service. I'll bet he's been here seven or eight times now. He's determined to keep them out of our house without hurting a hair on their little heads. And he's always cheerful about it. He doesn't wait for us to call him either, just shows up, asks us how it's going and gets on with solving the problem, or at least the current version of it. And I love that he's never suggested we stop feeding the birds (and chipmunks and squirrels). He's worth way more than he's asked us to pay him.
