I searched on line for a carpenter in my vicinity to remove wooden panels and make groves for fixing glass on my upper cabinets in the kitchen. I identified Tanganho because they had good reviews, so I contacted them. Mike responded within minutes and right from get go, he was on top of the project. He was extremely professional and provided valuable advice. He delivered the project on time, cost and the quality of workmanship was beyond my expectation. He was a delight to work with. and has transformed our kitchen with minimum cost.

Very pleased with Mike’s work on my front porch repair and would absolutely contact him again for any carpentry work. He is professional, precise, responds quickly and left the work site spotless. Great carpenter.

I agree with all the other reviewers below about the excellence of Miguel's work. I hired him to raise a kitchen cabinet to make room for a new and taller fridge. Unfortunately for me, the old fridge is surrounded by cabinetry, and raising the cabinet over the fridge means it is no longer aligned with the cabinets on either side. It seemed like a tricky job to me but Miguel did it with ease and perfectly cut the moulding on top so the difference in alignment is barely noticeable. I am very happy with his efficiency and attention to detail and would not hesitate to recommend him.

Mike brings a lot of energy and a positive attitude to his work. He called ahead to confirm he was on his way, and soon showed up ready to get to work with his assistant. We had a long list of trim carpentry bits and pieces, left-overs at the end of a long reno. A large transom window trim had been refused by several other carpenters. We waited almost 9 months to find someone willing to tackle this project. Mike was up for the challenge and did an excellent job of cutting the two badly formed trim arcs to make one good one. The baseboard work around some steps is excellent.

Old damaged stair stringers were given a whole new lease on life by assistant Mauro, with thin stock wood covering 65 years of dents and thick paint.

Mike also installed some door handles for us, and paid careful attention to casing work in our crawl space even though it is hidden out of sight. He is very willing to discuss options and keeps client satisfaction a top priority. Quality clearly is genuinely important to this hard working young professional.

At the end of the day, a few small items were left. Mike gave his word that he would return, so we paid in full. (His quote was half the price of another quote we had). The next day Mike was back to complete everything as promised, and to adjust one handle from the day before, which was slightly misaligned.

His communication and carpentry skills are great, and he is a very pleasant person to have in the house. One of the best trades we have worked with in our 2 year reno process.

Miguel is a very hard working man, we started off with the exterior deck and and it was a complete success and we were very happy with the job he had done! We liked his work so much and asked him to come back and do our interior wainscoting. Once again, his hard work payed off and he did a BEAUTIFUL job! Our house looks amazing and once again we were very very happy with his job! We will seek him in the near future for anymore projects! He's 100% good at what he's doing!

We installed new kitchen and changed most of the doors and trims. Miguel and his team did a very nice job for us. We highly recommend them for carpentery jobs.

Good carpenter, dependable , efficient and reasonable rates...built a fire escape hoarding and hung 2 F/R steel doors perfectly...the architect and the client were satisfied with the work performed by Tanganho Finish Carpentry...

Miguel did an excellent job installing baseboards, trim, crown mouldings and cabinets. Very pleased with the outcome and his professionalism. He definitely takes pride in his work . Will hire him again.
