We interviewed several contractors to add a bathroom to our house, as we had lost one in another renovation. Peter from Aquata was the only contractor who took the time to explain his business, his process, his credentials and his portfolio. His work was true to our first meeting with him. We ran into a few snags, as any project of this nature would. Peter and his team handle everything as professionals and we are extremely happy with the results. Peter is very personable and always willing to discuss items related to his experience, knowledge and the project at hand. Our project was completed on time and on budget. Earlier this summer Peter and his team renovated our main washroom, and they did an incredible job. This was our first major renovation as new homeowners and having an old Toronto home we knew we had to hire an experienced and knowledgeable team. Peter exceeded all expectations, not only in his high quality of work but also his cleanliness, frequent and transparent communication and his attention to detail. We were so impressed and comfortable with Peter that we went on vacation while he finished the project and when we returned home we were amazed with the end product. I would, without hesitation, recommend Peter to anyone looking to have their bathroom renovated.

The job involved a complete demolition (down to the studs), removal of a wall to expand into the adjacent closet, swapping location of the tub and vanity, installation of a fan, releveling the floor, installing very intricate floor tile, a new entry door and trim to match the character of the rest of the house.

Peter did some significant home renovations for us 6 or 7 years ago and did a fantastic job. He was so professional and personable, and he quickly became part of the family. Recently, we had a minor water emergency stemming from one of our bathrooms, and he came over without hesitation to assess the situation for us. He found the problem and quickly fixed it. Peter and his team transformed the two bathrooms in our condo into beautiful and modern ones. All the work was of the highest quality with exceptional attention to detail. We got Aquata to do our main bathroom. This company embodies professionalism, timeliness, honesty and integrity. Everything Peter told us, worked out exactly as he said. The bathroom came out looking stunning and my wife and me love it. They did it on budget, on time and in an extremely neat manner. Peter and his crew from Aquata recently did a complete renovation of our master bathroom. The end result is amazing! Peter is a true craftsman and meticulous in his work. After meeting 7 contractors, we hired Peter to renovate our master bathroom/bedroom. We loved that he took the time to explain his process for doing the job, how he might resolve potential issues and so on. His quote also provided a detailed breakdown so you could really understand what you're paying for.
Peter and his team were always punctual and showed up to work everyday as planned. Peter took care to ensure our house remained livable with two very young kids. Peter and his team cleaned up after themselves daily and also took as many precautions as possible to prevent dust and debris from spreading around our home.
We bought our materials from the places Peter recommended and found the staff willing and helpful. The bathroom fixtures were taken up via three sets of stairs leading to the bedroom. This was tough since it's a townhouse and we don't have the luxury of wide stairs but not one scratch or dent was made on either the fixtures or the walls.
Peter has a eye for design and detail and we could not have been happier with how our bathroom turned out. It is much more beautiful than we imagined! Peter also provided his perspective where my hubby and I didn't see eye to eye on how certain things should be and he also allowed us to provide input at every step of the way so that we would be happy with the results. We had input from alignment of the fixtures to grout colour. We will definitely recommend Peter and his team to all our neighbours and friends.
