Skylight Dome replacement

We had a Skylight that was 29 years old - a dome skylight. Found Jeff on Homestars.com. Right from the initial consultation, quote to the installation we were very impressed with the professionalism and the quality of the work. We were originally scheduled for end of March, but Jeff had opportunity to fit us in earlier due to the above average climate temperatures. It was a good thing too. Jeff provided photos, a description and Jeff called me at work to walk me through the photos and provide a thorough explanation of what he discovered, what he did to replace and how the whole new Skylight was sealed from any elements. A truly great experience. A definite recommendation.

Jeff Moore was incredibly professional to work with. He returned phone calls very promptly. He showed up at the time he said he would. He gave his professional opinion on what needed to be done. There was zero interruption in my home life. It was a clean job. And now I have beautiful natural light coming into my home and not have to worry about a leaking skylight through the winter. Jeff Moore of Moore Skylights was contracted by a neighbor who was very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and price for replacement of a leaking skylight. As we were in need of a new roof we felt it was time to replace our 30+ year old skylight as well. The roofer we contracted also recommended Moore Skylights. Jeff co-ordinated with the roofer and installed a beautiful new skylight as quoted. The workmanship inside and outside is impeccable.

Replaced old skylight

The house that we just bought had a new skylight that was installed by another company. Had been leaking every time it rained, while we contacted them to fix it, they never bothered to show up.
We heard some great things about Moore Skylights, so we went ahead and have them replaced the old skylight.

Inquires and responses had been quick and informative. We got an official quote within a week of our first inquire.

The new skylight is great, no leakage whatsoever.
The owner, Jeff, was very nice and professional. He explained what went wrong with the old skylight and what he did differently to prevent a similar situation. He even helped us repair some cracks on our chimney for free.

In short, this is a great company with great service.

Jeff was a pleasure to deal with.
Good communication throughout.
Organized work site.
Excellent installation.
Good clean up.
Jeff replaced a leaky skylight. The job also involved building up the box, replacing the ice and water membrane, flashing, and
shingles. Looks great and it doesn't rain inside my house any more.
