I opened our pool today but ran into some pump and filter water leak issues. Went to Tav Pools for advice and chlorine container refills. Tav himself showed me how to change pump diverter gasket and filter head seals/gasket in his store at no charge. Last summer,
I purchased a Kodiak pool cleaner valued at $700.00 with Visa card
rebate of $150.00. This cleaner works as advertised. Store staff have been extremely helpful with each visit. Bottom line, I would highly
recommend shopping at Tav Pools

My husband and I choose Tav Pools to install our in-ground pool last summer, our friend Jerry highly recommended Tav and Carolyn for the job. This is the best pool place in GTA. They went way above and beyond to help us make our dream come through. They have great prices, very professional, friendly, committed, very honest. I will never deal with any pool company, but Tav Pools and Water Kingdom and I will highly recommend them to anyone. While this post may seem a little unorthadox, I just couldn't let a few of the reviews and comments herein go unchallenged. I am speaking on behalf of myself as well as the entire staff at Tav Pools. Having worked in the pool industry for a number of years, The name Tav Scovino had become known to myself as well as most people in the business and, he has always been highly regarded for his honesty and integrity. A pool company is certainly not difficult to find in Durham Region. They are plentiful to say the least. A pool company with the moral conviction to actually turn down work when it is in the best interest of the customer is rare. I've personally witnessed Tav walking away from jobs that could easily yield $30,000.00 and more because the ground conditions in and around the customer's property would likely develop into future problems for that homeowner. I've personally witnessed Tav send a crew of workers to customer's homes to fix, repair, and in some cases, even replace components on their pool at no charge. Even when it was not the responsibility of Tav Pools to do it. Simply because of his deep belief in "Whats Right". In this city where pool companies seem to "spring up on every street corner", One has to ask how Tav Pools became the success story it is. We respect and value our customers. We appreciate their patronage. Because, without the support of our customers, we wouldn't be here. And, without the level of service and integrity we offer, I highly doubt we'd have that support. When I first applied for a position with Tav Pools, He told me "Say what you mean and mean what you say".. Sometimes the truth hurts. Sometimes Tav won't tell a customer what they might want to hear but, I can assure you, what he tells you.....You can take to the bank! In addition, Tav is human. He will welcome criticism. He will listen to complaints, and, if possible, he will address them but, he is human. He doesn't "push", but I can assure you he'll "push back". Those who truly know Tav are invited to join me in this response.

We hired Tav pools to close our pool in 2016. Upon opening our pool we discovered several issues that resulted from the pool being closed incorrectly. When we contacted Tav pools the owner was dismissive, argumentative, and blamed us. Since Tav would not except any responsibility for his negligence and wrongdoing, we were forced to seek legal advice. We are fortunate that we retained all of our receipts from day #1 (inspection and closing). I highly recommend that everyone avoid this pool store!!

Tav Pools is the epitome of customer service! Every question, every issue - they go out of their way to help, and then call back later to make sure everything is all right. They will talk you through minor repairs you can do yourself to save you money - rather than paying them to do it! Fabulous group!
