June 11th 2019 After last years Windstorms and piecemeal repairs on my roof, I decided to bite the bullet and go for the full shingle replacement. I figured to get it all done in one fell swoop rather than death by a 1,000 cuts! I went through Homestars and researched numerous companies to provide pricing on the job. After a half a dozen visits and quotations by different companies I chose Torcan based on Andrews visit and their prior reviews. It wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive but what I liked most was Andrews passion for the job and his line of work. He walked me through the process and made offerings of things to be done differently such as venting etc. but ultimately leaving it up to me to decide. he explained the difference between the Owens Corning shingles and others and why he personally went with them and recommends them. After hearing all of the pitches and seeing the quotes we went with Torcan. Upon deciding to proceed we were kept in the loop and advised well in advance of the Job date. When the day arrived Andrew was there on time and prepared. His team arrived shortly after. He said the job would be done in a day and true to his word it was. The crew worked hard and completed the job Professionally and timely. The cleanup was done better than expected with very few items I had to deal with on my own. The roof looks great and I look forward to the next windstorm to test the shingles out! I do recommend Torcan to those looking for any of the services they provide. Very satisfied with the work Torcan Group did to cap two window boxes and a portico. Andrew was quick to respond to my quote request and quote was competitive. Once I gave the go ahead, Andrew promptly came out to assess and schedule the work. The work was completed on time and Andrew made sure I was completely satisfied before he left. Andrew takes pride in his work and it shows. The window boxes and portico look great.

Andrew is wonderful at applying the aluminum, it's a true art. I watched some of the more difficult places that he applied the aluminum and it was amazing. Very professional and very pleased with the work. Would not hesitate in recommending him at all.

I engaged Torcan Group at first to install a exhaust fan. They rightfully advised me to update the vents through the roof instead of the soffits and use adequate materials as opposed as the original ones used on the previous installation. The illumination system engagement was contracted to upgrade a simple 2 laps (door and garage) to a 20+ pot light system to give the house a more modern look and to illuminate the sides that are very dark at night. I am very pleased with the consultation, design, delivery and installation tasks. Very professional crew.

Andrew and his partner met with me to find a solution to prevent water damage on the top face of my front porch patio. They suggested metal flashing which Andrew custom made and it provided a beautiful trim that is not only functional but looks lovely. This is my second time working with Andrew from Torcan Group and he has exemplified all expectations. He is a perfectionist with the quality of his work and he is amazing to work with. He is incredibly kind, friendly, reliable, accessible and affordable. He cares about his work and his clients and it is clear every time I see or communicate with him. Andrew, at The Torcan Group ,had repaired sections of my old roof after a windstorm last year, so when it came time to finally replace my roof, I knew who to call. From estimate to completion, he showed me pictures of each step- from stripping the old shingles to installing the ice and water shields, chimney flashings and metal valleys. I cannot express in words the relief and complete satisfaction we experienced in working with Andrew and Torcan. My original siding blew off during this winters extreme weather. I posted on Homestars a request and Torcan was one of the companies that replied. From the beginning I was made to feel like my needs were understood and would be taken care of. Andrew came last year to replace multiple shingles after the major windstorm we had. He recently came back to check as I saw debree and broken shingles. He repaired the one spot with no difficulties.
