Would recommend Open Canopy to anyone! Jeremy was so easy to work with. We had multiple additional trees we wanted to remove and he gladly kept making trips back. Good communication, reliable and friendly.

I had an old spruce tree at my front yard that I wanted to remove, so I made a few requests for quotations. Jeremy was pretty responsive and could arrange the tree removal service for me under a very short notice. I also asked for the price of cutting a few branches for another tree at a different place. Jeremy thought that would be a very basic job and offered to do it for free when he gets up there for other jobs. It was a very nice gesture!

My daughter wanted to keep a few little stems as seats in the back yard, so Jeremy cut and flat few for her. thanks for that! also he put an ads for free wood pickup, so we don't need to worry about the debris. they were all gone the same day! thanks to Ray too for leaving the site clean!

I would definitely recommend friendly Jeremy and Ray to anyone who can use their service!

Jeremy was very professional from start to finish. His quote was digital and detailed, unlike other fly-by-night arborists who wrote down hand written quotes. This is my first tree removal and I had heard horror stories of hiring the cheapest guys out there. Jeremy answers all questions I had, including providing WCB and Liability Insurance letters addressed to me personally dated one day after my request. On the day of the job, they arrived early and worked hard all day long. I was worried about the tree being close to my fence, but it didn't get a scratch. They removed the stump with his own machinery. (Be wary of other arborists who have to hire out stump grinding which can cause timing delays or additional markups). His team cleared all scraps and yard looked free of most leaves. Jeremy even made a free kijiji ad post and all the wood was cleared within 12 hrs. They weren't the cheapest quote, but FAR from the most expensive, and without a doubt the best value in the city. Highly recommend.

We first called Jeremy when we moved to our house 2 years ago to help tame a giant maple tree, complete some additional pruning and have a stump removed. He did such a great job that we did not hesitate to contact Open Canopy this past summer for maintenance on the maple. He did a complete assessment of all the trees on our property and provided good feedback for priorities. When the team came to complete the work, they were on time, took necessary safety precautions and were very efficient. They also left the year clean and tidy. Jeremy and the Open Canopy team are friendly, professional and passionate about what they do; I would highly recommend!

We had two large trees removed (40' Austrian Pine and 50' Spruce) plus 6 hedge type bushes removed from our front and back yard. The trees were really old, overgrown, and dying, not to mention the root system ruining the yard. Jeremy and Mike showed up on time, did the work in a timely fashion, and their clean up was really good too. They were friendly and easy to work with. Also, Jeremy dealt with the neighbours kindly asking them to park elsewhere and dealt with the neighbours' questions in general. Wood was all taken away by someone, some neighbours, and by Jeremy. Not the cheapest quote, but they offered everything we wanted to have completed. We were really happy with their work and would highly recommend Open Canopy Tree & Landscape any time to anyone!!!

Jeremy from Open Canopy Tree and his crew were wonderful to work with. We had seven 50 foot Spruce trees in our yard. The trees were so beautiful and we dragged our heels for the past five years to remove them as the roots were damaging our driveway, patio and lawn. It was a very difficult decision to say goodbye to these beautiful homes for the birds. We will not miss the spiders, sap, needles and pine cones in excess around our yard. The trees were totally removed and the stumps were all ground to below grade level just as we requested. The quote was the final price we paid. The service was speedy and on time. I looked around for a tree removal service in Calgary, and many of them took a while respond or did not respond at all. Jeremy from Open Canopy responded in a timely manner and was professional through the whole process of obtaining an estimate.

Jeremy booked me in very quickly and once they arrived , everything was completed within 3 hours. Whole crew seemed skilled and competent.
