I HIGHLY DO NOT Recommend Universal Deck & Rail. Guarantee/Warranty Issue.
I hired a company to install a new deck and hand railing components in May 2020. "Universal Deck & Rail" was hired to construct and install the hand railing components.
It was reported that when the fabricated components were supplied, they changed the structural design of the drawing without consulting anyone?
Patio Gate Hinges and Latch were installed in a shoddy, substandard (bare metal) condition and later replaced. Despite being fitted "backwards," the replacement hinges rusted within six (6) months.
The Rust Issue was brought to their attention in May 2021. The problem has yet to be rectified, despite repeated phone calls. Universal Deck & Rail continues to make excuses for not being able to come out and fix the problem.
