Ralph and his team did a great job. This is a review after 2+ years since the installation of a new hardwood floor and refinishing stairs, and the work has proven to be of great quality and lasting value. Ralph organized everything really well, there are a lot of moving pieces in these jobs, and all crews showed up as scheduled. The floor install was done in an unbelievable pace and at great quality. The install crew were accommodating, they fixed small imperfections that we pointed out from time to time. Stairs and a new railing were done by another crew, who were very professional and very proud of their work as well. Well done. Ralph agreed to fix a few details near the end of the job, which showed his professional approach, no hassle at all. Happy to have had this company do the work, it is beautiful to this day (and will be for quite some time), the guys were knowledgeable and skilled in what they were doing, they advised of potential issues, levelled the surfaces where needed, added a pillar on the stairs where there wasn't one before etc.

Ralph and the team took care of all of the details. They removed the old carpet, supplied and installed the wood, they moved my furniture, installed painted shoe mouldings and repaired a few other things including reinstalling a barn door that was too low for the new floor.
They were friendly, respectful, and professional.

Found Ralph on Homestars, and explained a rather large project we were looking to get done. New floors on multiple levels, floor refinishing, and a new railing throughout 3 levels. We set a time and met him at his showroom. Ralph helped us pick a stain (hand delivered a multiple sample sets!), helped pick the flooring and the railing, and kept us up to speed on all aspects of the project via text, calls and pictures.

Given this was such a complex project, there were a couple of changes along the way, which Ralph explained and solutions were worked out very easily. Everything was fantastic and wouldn't hesitate to call Ralph again! Him and his crew treated our house as if it was their own. Thanks Ralph!!!

Weve been extremely lucky to have found a general contractor like Ralph. In June we renovated our main floor, and we hired Focus on Flooring to handle demolition (removal of tiles + old hardwood), installation of new flooring + staircase refinishing including new handrail/pickets. Ralph is very professional, always available for questions/concerns/suggestions. The work was done on time and his crew is reliable.

We contacted them to refinish our wood flooring. It was an unusual job in that there are no quarter rounds on the baseboards and stainless steel is flush to the floor in the kitchen. So the notion of zipping in and out with power sanders went out the door! Ralph came for a second consult and determined that all the edging would have to be done by hand. Pricing was competitive. The quality of the workmanship was superior. The job was not delayed. Outstanding work all around including a range of smaller jobs managed by Reuben and family that were just begging to be done! Ralph, Ruben and team did an excellent job completing a full renovation of the basement - installing new subfloor and laminate floor, trim and painting as well as new bathroom glass and wall/floor tiles.
