Mvr Landscaping

I had my driveway extended and re-paved using MVR this Fall. Simon was extremely responsive communication-wise and elaborate on the details regarding the project.
Despite changes in the project at my end (such as the decision to extend the driveway which was not in the initial plan), Simon was able to accommodate them with ease.
The quality of work performed by his team, especially the paving, was excellent. I have received numerous compliments on the new driveway from my neighbors with others requesting more information on MVR's contact details.
It took the team a total of 5 days to complete the work once all material was received - from lifting old stones, reveling and compacting base to slop away from home, driveway extension, new structured steps, side walkway, small patio outside main door, to the sodding and grading of new lawn laid on side of house.
Even when I was unhappy with the color of the stone I had ordered for the steps (internet pictures can be deceiving) , Simon was accommodating to me changing the stone after it was initially laid.

We worked with Simon to get our backyard + walkway + porch interlocked. We are so happy with the results. Simon is extremely professional, and proactive. His team works really fast, and they do a fantastic job. They really transformed our space.

It was a really big job, and so there were a few challenges along the way, but Simon was so quick to respond, and was always willing to problem solve with us. He is a really awesome person to work it! He is so responsive, and completed the job before the date that we had set as a deadline. Simon and his crew did an absolutely amazing job at my cottage. He was professional and gave me different options. We chose to do the back and front driveway. The fire pit is an absolute must for a cottage. The amazing quality of his and his crews workmanship is extremely hard to find. I have already recommended him to a few of my good friends and they are pursuing their dream projects

We called Simon and his team to replace our old patterned concrete driveway and sidewalk. They removed all of the old heavy cracked patterned concrete and worked efficiently to give us a beautiful driveway and sidewalk with interlocking paving stone. He quickly noticed that the old patterned concrete job had not had a proper base. He cared enough about his work to ensure that our new driveway would have a proper base and went to the additional work of laying a new base. My neighbours liked the work so much that both of our immediate next door neighbours ended up hiring him and his team to do work on their properties.

We feel very lucky that we found Simon and his crew. They constructed 2 walkways in our front garden and redid our porch with stone in late Sept. 2018. Simon communicated with us immediately by phone, text and email and stayed in touch all the way through the job. When he said he would be there, he was there. Simon gave us an estimate of the cost of the stones separate from the labour and we paid the building supplier directly for the stones, and paid Simon for the labour. We feel we got a reasonable quote, and the job was done quickly and professionally. When we had a concern about an element of the porch, he worked to come up with a way to please us and solve the issue. He wanted us to be happy and made recommendations that would save us money. Because he is easy to get along with, and listens, we plan to hire him and his crew to do work for us later on in the backyard. Give Simon a shout as he is dependable and does great work.

MVR was recommended to me by a neighbour who had used them for his driveway. I called Simon at the end of September because another contractor had 'stood me up'. Simon was able to fit me into his schedule by the end of October.
Simon, James and the crew did a beautiful job on the driveway. We used Unilock stone and put in a double border. The driveway is turning heads in my neighbourhood! I am delighted with the results.
They left my place neat and organized the skids and extra stone for pickup.

Simon and his team did a fantastic job installing our interlocking patio and walkway. From the very beginning of the project Simon did an excellent job of communicating and breaking down the cost structure along with the construction process of our walkway and patio. He was very professional and honest. When a couple of unforeseen circumstances came up Simon was quick to offer alternate solutions and cost effective options. Even with the bad weather delaying the process they were still able to complete the process in a timely manner and within budget. I would highly recommend MVR Landscaping and will definitely hire them again for future needs.
