Hawkeye's Renovations

A major renovation of the main floor level. We had a main supporting wall removed and beam install, the raising of a sunken family room and new kitchen design and install.

They remodelled the shower and installed a new bathroom floor. They went the extra mile to do a great job.

Paul and crew were very professional...They were thorough and meticulous...We were very impressed with their attention to detail and their quality control...for instance some of the cabinets were not up to par so they returned them on their own without involving us...We were also impressed with the various suppliers and associates that Paul brought into the project (Electrician, gaz, etc.) Paul's maintained constant communication with us of the project status, key steps and costs. we have no hesitation in recommending Paul and Hawkeye renovations.

Words can't describe how absolutely blown away we are with our kitchen and main floor. Hawkeye's is by far the best contractor we have ever worked with. Extreme attention to detail, very friendly team of guys. We felt like they treated our house/project and us like family! Our kitchen is stunning. The renovation was a 30 plus year basement that needed
a up date. Work was completed in a timely fashion and they
where open to any changes that where made as the work
progressed. Works where professional in there approached
to the job and kept us updated as the work progressed.

From my very first meeting, Paul Varey of Hawkeye's Renovations was very professional and straightforward with me, answering so many of my questions before I asked them. His design sense made my decisions very easy. Paul's attention to detail continued throughout the renovations. The "work plan" and schedule fell into place to the finish date he had provided me. Clean up was completed at the end of each working day and the next day's plans clearly communicated to me. The transformation of my much needed bathroom renovation has been amazing. Paul and his entire team did very good work. They were cheerful, courteous, safety-conscious and careful. The finished bathroom looks beautiful and works perfectly. We were able to check progress frequently, and it was always apparent that work was being done carefully so that we would be satisfied with the quality of their workmanship not just immediately, but for years to come. Paul offered some really good suggestions in the planning process and he checked in with us regularly. We are very happy with the work done by Paul and the Hawkeye's Renovations team. Paul worked with us to bring our vision for our new master bathroom to life, working professionally throughout the project to ensure a successful outcome. Paul discussed any technical issues with us and had electrical inspection to ensure that all was to code. Paul left us leeway to make our choices re: tile, fixtures etc. but provided suggestions and recommendations along the way. Very helpful. What a huge change from what was there before - we love our new bathroom!

Hawkeyes was a sub-contractor to Home Hardware, whom we hired to install our kitchen. Our overall experience with Hawkeyes was a positive one. The installers were skilled, pleasant to work with and responsive to any questions we had. The end product was clean, sleek and beautifully finished with great attention to detail. We were also impressed with the solution/work-around they designed to address an obstacle that was outside their responsibility.

We had a very old basement rec room dating to late 1958. The rest of our basement was recently refinished and my husband an I worked on this particular room. We desperately needed someone to install the ceiling after we ripped down very old paper tiling. We were referred to Hawkeye Construction and we were very, very happy! The quote was reasonable for the the high quality of work done. My husband has been ill for the past few years and the gentlemen that came to do the work were wonderful and respectful. The ceiling looks fantastic and it pulled the old room together and we can now use it again.
