I had a small leak in my roof from a slightly sloppy installation that happened over a decade ago that finally reared its head. I called Yuri based on the totality of reviews on this site and he completely lived up to the reputation people painted. He is a straight shooter, thorough, and is honest about the project with people. He went back and forth about 3x to make sure all the spots were covered and the problem was fixed. My roof is getting older, I knew that going into this repair, and he confirmed what I thought that this would be the last winter I could probably get out of the shingles. $100 is not outrageous to have someone show up in the GTA and Yuri is worth that cost. Once he quotes you what its going to cost, he sticks to it. My advice is that its worth paying the $100 to have him look at the issue and if your unsatisfied with the price to shop around, that said, put Yuri on your list for the reasons above.

I thought that we might need a new roof as we had a leak in our front bedroom ceiling. Yuri responded to my call quickly and was out to give me an estimate within a couple of days. Upon inspection of the roof, Yuri was upfront and honest in telling me we only needed a repair which he was able to do the same day. His crew was courteous and worked quickly when they arrived and left no mess at all. I would highly recommend Yuri am his team and when I need a new roof, it will be Quality Home Roofing that I will call.

The estimate was clear and Yuriy left a detailed breakdown of what the work comprises and at a very fair price. Extremely professional crew and communicates well. They cleaned up properly after the work was done.

Yuriy and his team did an excellent job installing a new roof on my house.
I chose to work with Yuriy because of his certifications and accreditation, very good reviews, and the very good impression when he provided the quote. On the day I called for a quote he arrived promptly on the same day, went on the roof for inspection, provided the quote and answered all my questions, also in follow up calls.

On the day of the project, Yuriy and his team came early in the morning (6:45 am), brought all the required materials and equipment, and worked diligently until late in the evening - finishing the entire project in a single sunny day!

Excellent work. Very conscientious about protecting garden areas close to the house, cleaning up debris, and magnetic sweep of loose nails and metal at the end of each day. In addition to replacing the shingles, they installed a metal drip edge along all edges, ice & water shield along gutters, new pipe flashing, new washroom vent, new slant back aluminum vents, and various other items.

A couple of weeks after the job was completed (and paid for), I had a question about the operation of the slant back vents. Called the company's owner and within an hour he arrived at my front door to fully answer my question -- very impressive customer service. Certainly would use him again if I move to a different house that needs a new roof. Highly recommend his company to anyone who needs a new roof.

Quality Home Roofing is a team of highly skilled and experienced roof masters. They are very efficient, responsible and punctual. We are very happy with results of our house roofing and we highly recommend Yuriy and his team!

I went through many quotations. A few companies never responded. A few companies responded but never showed up. A few companies gave some ridiculous quotation so high that I figured that rather than saying they don't want the job, they just gave a very high quote. Those companies are on Homestars as well. Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling responded the next day. Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling came the following day. I have to give a 10 for my interactions with Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling about what needs to be done and what shingles to use, etc. They are not the best roofing company out there. And no roofing company is the best. You have to choose the company that you think you can work with, and Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling is the company I can work with. It's like a relationship, give and take. That's how I see things. Their quote was not the highest nor the lowest, but from talking with Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling on multiple occasions, I knew I can work with them. And that's what matters most. They came on time, work non stop, and finished same day. Thank you Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling for helping us choose the right colour and grade of shingles quality to choose. Thank you for being so patient and informative with the specifications of what type of shingles to use, etc. This is the kind of company you would want to hire if materials is important. Because we had to scrap the idea of installing extra vents, and go with ridge vents instead, we had to settle with plastic ridge vent instead of metal due to last minute supply contstraints. That's acceptable. We'll monitor for the next coming years how long the plastic ridge vent will endure varying temperatures and rodents. We can always hire them again to replace plastic with metal when times are back to normal and supplies are back to normal as well. Overall I give them a 10 for a roofing company that we can work with as in my eyes they are a people company.

I recently had Quality Home replace my roof. They did an outstanding job from start to finish. Yuriy provided a competitive quote and scheduled the job in short order. We asked Yuriy a few years ago to have a look at our roof and let us know if it needs to be replaced, as we were leaning towards that option, however he advised us not to rush as the roof was still fine for at least a couple of years, and he was right. Time went by and we called Yuriy to replace the roof and as before he showed up as promised did the measurements, provide us with the materials options and on the first good working day he was up on the roof with his crew such that by the end of the day the job was done, clean, professional, absolutely amazing. What I do want to point out is how knowledgeable Yuriy is, ask and he will answer and advise, straight up no confetti no red ribbon, no b.s., and for me this is priceless. The fact that he is actually up on the roof doing the work, also speaks volumes about how he conducts the business. With open heart we highly recommend Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling.
