Our Architect Ben was a pleasure to work with. He designed a beautiful home for us. He knew his way around the city permit, committee of adjustment process and ensured that we received our permits in a timely manner. We are very pleased with his knowledge and ways to workaround when needed. He stayed on top of the delays and followed up with other parties when we didn't agree with specifications. I would highly recommend him for your future builds.

Our situation was a unique situation that brought constant challenges. I kept worrying that we were the worst clients as we came up to some roadblocks that no one anticipated.
Ben, not only successfully went to committee on our behalf, he managed all of our challenges with grace and amazing support. Ben completed all our drawings for a third-floor addition that we are very happy with.

Ben has been a joy to work with, a consummate professional and extremely helpful during our application for a building permit; he was very accommodating and patient in regards to our inexperience with renovations.

While working with Ben to make adjustments to the drawings there was a specific change we decided towards the end that would require the Committee of Adjustments to approve of which would incur additional costs both for his services and to the city; Ben could've easily given the notice of the additional cost requirement, accepted the additional work for minimal extra effort. Instead he chose to also give his own recommendation AGAINST making that last impulsive change as it seemed unnecessary given the cost vs benefits to making that change for our overall project, it was a clear show of his moral ethics and we greatly appreciated it.

I truly rely on Ben to guide me through the very detailed planning, premitting and technical aspects of the project. Starting from my initial inquiry, Ben was quick to respond, provided clear and fair pricing, and set expectations on timing. I was looking to get moving on the project very quickly and Ben was able to come onsite on the weekend to take detailed measurements to kick things off.

From there he was able to move very fast, communicating with me over email, phone and Zoom to get all the drawings together to submit the permit application. When the city was taking too long to review it, Ben contacted the office and pushed to have the review complete (which was achieved successfully). Ben's experience and knowledge of the city review process and reviewers was particularly helpful. This was crucial as I'm sure the process could have dragged along further if Ben hadn't pushed for it.

I'm very glad I hired Ben for this project and I will definitely hire him again for my future needs.
