My chimney had deteriorated to the point that it needed to be completely rebuilt. Niall was a pleasure to deal with. He gave me the best price estimate, was timely and considerate of my property, and did a great job. I would definitely use him for any more masonry work, and I recommend him strongly.

Niall was awesome! He came out to my place to attach a chimney cap, to a chimney that raccoons had moved into. The price was very fair. Everything was fine until a few days later the raccoons pulled off the chimney cap and threw it off the roof. I asked Niall to come back, and he did so and fixed some wire mesh to the chimney cap to hold it in place, all free of charge. Niall was extremely responsive when we needed some work done on our chimney. He was the only contractor who was prepared to go on the roof & inspect the chimney before giving me a quote. He was able to do the work very quickly (I was worried about rain water leaking into the house) and left the work area very tidy. I would highly recommend Niall and would definitely use him again for any masonry work.

Niall was recommended to me by my nephew who had his chimney repaired just a month ago. Niall is an exceptionally skilled mason who worked meticulously in rebuilding my chimney from the roof up. The job is beautifully done. There is no telltale sign that it was rebuilt! He also replaced some of the bricks that were damaged on the side of my house and resurfaced the cement foundation on both sides of my garage door. I am extremely satisfied with his workmanship. I am most impressed with Niall’s character, he is a man of honour and integrity. Despite my most unreasonable neighbour’s antics which drove him away from starting the work on one day, he came back a few days later to fix my chimney because of a spoken agreement between us and didn’t charge me more for the extra work and effort to complete the work for me. I will definitely be calling him again for other masonry work in the future.

My chimney was starting to deteriorate. The top portion of the chimney flu,cap and bricks were breaking down. I knew the chimney had to be taken down a few bricks and rebuilt. After getting three quotes NF Masonry quoted me the most reasonable and competitive price of the three quotes I got for the job.
The response from Niall was quick and he was very responsive in being able to provide me with another quote as I wanted changes to the original quote. He was timely with his job and cleaned up after he finished. See the before (2) and after pictures (3).

I called Niall back in April to repair my chimney that had bricks spalling and cracks. He personally came to see the chimney and told me what he need to do, made some suggestions like adding a rain guard to the flue and provided me with a quote very quickly. Some other companies that I called either didn't return the call or asked me to send them photos and sent me quotes based on those photos. Out of everyone I called, Niall was the only one that gave me a sense of comfort that he could do this job appropriately. The summer was busy and we did not get around to calling Niall back until September to give him the job. Niall was very good at returning my call, told me he would call me a few days before starting the work, and would honour my original quote. Niall and his assistant showed up, did a fabulous job and stayed late so they could finish the work because it was going to rain the next day. They did a great job cleaning up and removing all debris from our property. All in all…Niall is super pleasant and does great work. I would recommend NF Masonry to anyone without any hesitation.
