Walter was very responsive and after getting some background on my matter, he explained it was unlikely to be a hazard and provided me clear instructions on how to safely clean it myself.saved me a tonne of money and time!

I had a flood in my basement and needed to repair some drywall. After reading the good reviews, I called Walter who came right away to take a look and give an estimate. I liked Walter from the start so didn't even bother with other quotes as I felt his quote was fair not to mention other trades people don't always come out unless it's a big job but Walter will help anyone. I liked how he was always communicating sending reminders when he is coming and when he is on the way.

Walter put in new insulation with a vapour barrier and then put the drywall back. His work was such good quality that you will never tell that half the wall was missing. Aside from the amazing quality he works very cleanly! A shoutout to his painter Santiago who painted it and did a very good job.

Aside from the work, Walters personality and attitude was a pleasure to work with. He is super friendly and treats his clients as his family.

If your looking for his skills and are still unsure take a chance on him you won't regret it. Sure you may find some cheaper deal but not worth saving few hundred dollars trust the many positive reviews.

Walter was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. We had a basement leak that needed the drywall, carpet under pad and baseboards to be repaired. He completed the job in a timely manner and brought a professional painter to finish the job. Upon completion, you can't even tell that there was every any damage in that room. I would highly recommend.

We found Walter on homestars when looking for a contractor to repair our plaster and lath ceilings and replacement with drywall where needed. He was great! Walter did an amazing job sound proofing our shared wall on both floors. He was awesome to work with throughout the entire process. It was a big job and took a week to complete. He provided daily updates on progress. He went above and beyond repairing and securing our dryer vent and re-dry walling plus other small fixes he found on his own time.

When I think of drywall and plaster, I think of a loud and extremely messy trade. Walter, on the other hand, was quiet and incredibly clean! He made awful blemishes in our 100 year old walls look flawless. Not only was his finished product perfect, but he was incredibly respectful and thorough throughout the project.

Walter was amazing. Not only did he a stellar job taking down a dry wall, but he explained his process along the way, kept me informed and cleaned up after the job was done. Walter did an amazing job on some drywall that was damaged from a leaky water line. He responded quickly to my request for a quote through homestars, came out the next day to look at the problem in person, and came back a few days after with a very competitive quote.

He was able to start the job within a few weeks, and worked quickly and quietly over 4 days to repair the wall and bulkhead that had been damaged. He was open and clear with communication, sending updates throughout the day. He made sure to keep the other areas of our basement clean by tarping off the nearby areas too.

Finally, his painter came in immediately after he was finished and matched our existing colour in the rest of the basement. The area now looks even better than it did before the drywall got damaged.

Would definitely recommend Walter to anyone and will be sure to use his company again if we have any other drywall/painting needs.
