Budget Rooter

I was shopping around for local plumbers to fix a Victorian bathtub drain that had gotten jammed from misuse. We were originally expecting this to cost in the neighbourhood of $200-$300, but the first contractor that came by gave us 3 quotes which ranged from $1900-$2200 (they claimed the entire drain system was 'illegally installed' and needed to be replaced, which we weren't responsible for as the tenants).

was contacted by Jason from Budget Rooter. He came by that evening and managed to remove the damaged drain piece within less than 20 minutes, and the final price ended up being about half of what we had originally expected to pay.
