I needed to trim tree branches that had grown too close to the roof of my house to prevent the animals to damage the roof. After spending a great amount of time researching different companies, I decided to give Ash Urban Forestry a call. Trevor responded to my call very soon! His quote was very competitive! He and his crew arrived on time on the promised day, he explained all in and out of what needed to happen. I have a high standard for trades but let me tell you that Trevor is very professional with amazing work ethic and outstanding service! He was even so kind to provide me online product info for my issue regarding bugs and what to buy to get rid of them!
I totally recommend them and they will be my first call next time I need a service!

Trevor and his team arrived promptly and trimmed all our trees and removed two stumps. What a difference this has made with regaining space in our backyard. Trevor responded promptly to my estimate request and was able to show up to see the trees the next day. He sent a crew with a couple of weeks lead time and they were about to complete the job without incident. The crew was hard working and didnt mind that I recorded the job for my 3 year old!

Trevor was an absolute pleasure to work with. He explained to me that due to the fact that the tree on our property was dead we were eligible to apply for a special permit (at no cost) nor would we have to replant. He saved us hundreds of dollars (seriously...I had received a quote from another arborist who was charging us to apply for the permit and for replanting!) Trevor let me know when he was going to arrive and was there when he said he would be. He was very quick to respond to questions. I would absolutely recommend Ash Urban Forestry.

After comprehensive research, I decided to invite ASH Urban Forestry to do the job. Generally, I am quite skeptical about the service industry. However, the quality of the job done was outstanding and the price was very competitive. The workers were extremely professional, arrived on time, and even cleaned up after completing the work. I was also imprest by Trevor's knowledge and know-how. He is also an arborist. I would strongly recommend them!

After receiving the permit from my city for tree removal (Norway Maple), I requested some quotes via HomeStars and Ash Urban Forestry was one of a handful of businesses that responded. I also received quotes from contacts recommended directly from friends. In the end, I selected Ash Urban Forestry because they checked all the boxes for me.

- When discussing tree stump removal, Trevor brought up the topic of doing locates first (to identify where the gas, water, and phone lines are in the ground). Not all contractors I spoke with suggested locates (which are free to order) as part of their process.

Trevor showed up with two other crew members who had professional tree climbing equipment and together they took everything down carefully and methodically. The cleaned up after themselves and left no unnecessary mess.

I've been getting a lot of work done and I have to hire contractors often. It's always refreshing to work with someone who is friendly, professional, detail oriented, and delivers on their promises; a competitive rate is always a nice bonus too. I would definitely do business with Trevor and Ash Urban Forestry again, and I am happy to recommend them to others!

I contacted Trevor regarding a very large Spruce tree growing close to our front porch. The tree was casting a lot of shade in our front yard and blocking the view from our front window. I emailed Trevor on a Friday and he came out to look at the tree the following Monday. He assessed the tree and gave me a couple of options (including quotes) on how to proceed. I opted to have the tree pruned and he completed the job four days later on the Friday. The whole process only took a week! Trevor did a great job pruning the tree, and everything was cleaned up afterwards. I am very happy with the way the tree looks now. I strongly recommend Trevor and his team!

Ash Urban Forestry provided their expert services for removal of a massive tree in a very tight urban space ( between houses). From walking us through the permit process , to problem solving along the way ( turns out they needed a crane) , with Trevor Ash at the helm, they got the job done safely and effectively.
