Ash Urban Forestry

Trevor and his crew took down a small elm, and fixed my wind damaged cedar trees. They were fast, respectful, and affordable. 10/10.

This week we had been serviced by Ash Urban Forestry. We needed to trim tree branches that grew too close to the roof of the house to prevent raccoons and squirrels to damage the roof. After comprehensive research, I decided to invite ASH Urban Forestry to do the job. Generally, I am quite skeptical about the service industry. However, the quality of the job done was outstanding and the price was very competitive. The workers were extremely professional, arrived on time, and even cleaned up after completing the work. I was also imprest by Trevor's knowledge and know-how. He is also an arborist. I would strongly recommend them!

After receiving the permit from my city for tree removal (Norway Maple), I requested some quotes via HomeStars and Ash Urban Forestry was one of a handful of businesses that responded. I also received quotes from contacts recommended directly from friends. In the end, I selected Ash Urban Forestry because they checked all the boxes for me.

- When discussing tree stump removal, Trevor brought up the topic of doing locates first (to identify where the gas, water, and phone lines are in the ground). Not all contractors I spoke with suggested locates (which are free to order) as part of their process.

Trevor showed up with two other crew members who had professional tree climbing equipment and together they took everything down carefully and methodically. The cleaned up after themselves and left no unnecessary mess.

I've been getting a lot of work done and I have to hire contractors often. It's always refreshing to work with someone who is friendly, professional, detail oriented, and delivers on their promises; a competitive rate is always a nice bonus too. I would definitely do business with Trevor and Ash Urban Forestry again, and I am happy to recommend them to others!

I contacted Trevor regarding a very large Spruce tree growing close to our front porch. The tree was casting a lot of shade in our front yard and blocking the view from our front window. I emailed Trevor on a Friday and he came out to look at the tree the following Monday. He assessed the tree and gave me a couple of options (including quotes) on how to proceed. I opted to have the tree pruned and he completed the job four days later on the Friday. The whole process only took a week! Trevor did a great job pruning the tree, and everything was cleaned up afterwards. I am very happy with the way the tree looks now. I strongly recommend Trevor and his team!

Ash Urban Forestry provided their expert services for removal of a massive tree in a very tight urban space ( between houses). From walking us through the permit process , to problem solving along the way ( turns out they needed a crane) , with Trevor Ash at the helm, they got the job done safely and effectively. Highly recommend.

Trevor and his team are the best. we live on a ravine lot and whenever we have any questions or issues at all they respond so quickly and do an incredible job. Trevor is so knowledgeable and honest, we would be lost without him!!!

They did an excellent job of cutting down buckthorn in the Arnold Matthews Nature Reserve.

This year in a major storm a tree branch came down and went thru my roof and into backyard. Trevor cancelled his trip and came to save the day which he did and is wonderful to work with.

We had a complicated danger tree that was leaning on a building in a tight alley in downtown Toronto. Trevor and his team were able to remove it seamlessly. Perfect job. No issues. Great guys. Quote was cheaper than two two other options.
