I built a super energy efficient townhouse with 16 thick walls of dense packed cellulose by Western Insulations. It is said for dense packed you need to find an experienced installer so the insulation doesnt sag and leave gaps at the top. The drywall guy said he has seen poor dense packed but Western Insulations are rock stars. Hire these guys!

Very nice and reputable company. Worked between my schedule. Was nice enough to sneak us in between jobs very close to Christmas.
One of his employees called in sick last minute. He was still able to show up with additional help.

Jason, Colin and the team from Western Insulations did a great job insulating the exterior walls and ceiling in my basement. When I started this project I thought I would be using rock wool insulation on the exterior walls and Safe and Sound for the ceiling. Jason responded to my service request on HomeStars and asked if I would consider cellulose insulation, which I was not familiar with. I asked him to come out and tell me about cellulose and to provide an estimate. Jason was able to clearly explain why cellulose was the best choice for my basement. His product knowledge is excellent and he was honest in his assessment of areas where batt insulation is better and others where cellulose is best. Jason provided a written estimate on the spot for me which was for a reasonable price. On the day of installation, Jason and Colin (the company owners) arrived on time and their professionalism was on display the entire time they worked to complete the project. The installation went well and it looks great! The product fills all the cavities of the walls and ceiling in a way that batt insulation could not do, and you can feel how dense and tightly packed the cellulose is in the walls. The change in the warmth and the acoustics is night and day compared to how it was before. I am only developing half of my basement and you can sure feel the difference walking between the unfinished portion to the insulated half of the basement. Working with Western Insulations was a pleasure from the first contact to the completion of the project and I highly recommend them!

Jason and his team were professionals and finished the job quickly. Communication was a breeze, he replies to every questions I had. Price for the service was reasonable, hopefully our heating cost in the winter will be lower. I will definitely recommend Western Insulations.

The lads came into the house and were very professional and comfortable to be around. The work was done in a timely and clean manner. There was matting put down in all the areas they were in and the house was very clean when they left. I have suggested them to a number of the neighbours as well.

The work execution and professional attitude were welcome at our home. They were engaged and believed strongly in their product. We are very happy with the cellulose insulation and chutes they installed throughout our attic.
