Proper Roofs

After losing a few shingles due to wind, we were prepared for the inevitable runaround and overpriced "emergency" service common in the roofing industry. We found Proper Roofs online and after checking the reviews on HomeStars, we called Eugene. As others have said, he's great to work with, is both competent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be contacting Eugene and Proper Roofs when we eventually replace our shingles.

His knowledgeable, keen, friendly and very reasonable. Eugene was always on time for his appointments and very communicative via texts. He followed up on his work consciously.

Eugene was doing my neighbour's roof and I approached him about the loose spikes in my 2nd storey gutters. He was kind enough to show me what replacement spikes would be necessary and said he could do the job in the next few days. Eugene was very professional, courteous and followed up quickly. He got the job done and also checked along the whole gutter line for any other loose spikes while he was up there. It was a small job and I appreciate that he was knowledgeable and responsive. Thanks for a job well done.

This is a review for work that Eugene did on my roof in 2018. It all began with a leak in my 2nd floor master bedroom washroom. A following roof inspection showed that the back side of my house is in very terrible state (my roof was almost 20 years old). Eugene and his crew replaced my roof completely and I haven't had an issue since then. Keep up the good work!

The old gutter spikes have been popping out time from time. Eugene used the spikes with a thread at the end as replacement. A creative solution as our gutters are still relatively new and we weren't ready to replace them entirely.

We needed roof repaired after a last wind. Team from Proper Roofs was able to come next day. Eugene and Leo came as they promised and repaired the roof patch.
