We would like to thank Jimmy and Brian for a great job they did on our house. It started with a small project but after Jimmie’s advice we decided to extend it to covering most of the house with the board and batten siding.

I wanted to convert my garage into a more usable workspace, and had some electrical work done (additional outlets installed, etc.). The electrician created some horrific holes in the old drywall to run wiring that would need to be patched. The existing drywall was in poor condition to begin with, and half of the garage had no drywall at all.
I called Jimmy at Portu Galo and was impressed immediately with his professionalism and obvious expertise.
The work went quickly, and the results were beyond what I was expecting for my old garage. Very professional job! I would recommend Jimmy and his team anytime.

We knew only that we wanted to replace an existing patio with a three season sunroom & deck: beyond that, we didn’t have a clue! Jimmy guided us through every step and requirement of the project. He even emailed progress photographs during a time when we had to be away from home. He stresses communication with his clients! Throughout the whole process, he was seldom not on site and when he couldn’t be here, he always came by at day’s end to check on the work done. If it wasn’t to his standards, the subcontractors were called back to make things right. He really does champion his clients’ cause! He holds himself and everyone who subcontracts with him to an extremely high standard. Near the end of the project, we joked that we were concerned we’d have to settle for a lean-to but ended up with a work of art! We did go over budget but that was mostly because of choices we made as the project progressed.

Amazing workmanship! An absolute pleasure working with Portu-Galo Reno Inc. They were friendly, great with the kids and dogs. They completely exceeded my expectations. They made my home beautiful. I highly recommend them and will definitely be calling them again for our future projects.
