Our deck was a mess and needed repair, sanding and a new coat of paint. Matt and his team were professional and did a great job. I would use their services again.

Matthew did outstanding, precise work. We needed our kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, front & back doors re-caulked. He removed the old and worn out caulking and laid down new. Some outfits would just have put new caulking over the old, which you don't want! Matthew also hung a heavy door for us and replaced old weather stripping with new. We want to have him back to do the exterior of our home!

Matthew is a competent frendily reasonable person. Business is business, but matt was engaged and forthcoming at every point during the contract. His business completed caulking on over 22 windows and bay doors at my industrial building and subsequently the same at my home. Fantastic job!... and he pointed out any building concerns he noticed along the way without any assumption, or motive to be the individual required to complete any of his suggestions. I fully reccomend not just caulking, for not just caulking... matthew the owner has extensive experience with home building, but doesnt act like he does. He doesnt force anything on you, but I reccomend you you listen. It's hard to find somone with ethics, values, and compassion like he has. I will be dealing with "not just caulking" for the foreseeable future. I reccomend you do the same... thanks matthew!!! Dimond in the ruff.

I am very impressed and satisfied with the work done by M. Stillar around my house. From the first visit, when we called him for an emergency situation, to subsequently assessing the work to be done, and, the, to provide an estimate for the removal and replacement of the caulking around all the windows and doors, Matthew acted in a very professional way... He used modern equipment to do the work and was very efficient and careful in completing it. Some may not consider this work a major undertaking, but for us, it was a blessing in disguise...!!

I found Not Just Caulking on HomeStars last September and I'm so thankful I did! We'd been wanting to renovate our basement, but had a persistent slow leak which had been an ongoing, seemingly unsolvable problem. (We'd previously hired several other companies to find/fix the issue, with absolutely no luck.) Matthew showed up exactly when he said he would, assessed the situation & promised he'd figure it out. It took time and a lot of patience on his part, but figure it out, he did!
So, the problem with the leak was solved, but then we needed drywall repairs, and help with the renovation in October & November. Turned out that Matthew was able to help with much of what we needed, in a timely manner. He worked with us to reconfigure the layout of the space, removing doors, walls and trim, then adding new ones where we wanted them! He made great suggestions and had a good eye for aesthetics. Matthew had his own contractors working with him on occasion, and after he had the space ready, we had other contractors for plumbing, electrical, flooring and cabinetry installation. He worked well with everyone involved in the project. I found Matthew to be very personable, honest & trustworthy and will not hesitate to hire him again and recommend him to others. Our neighbours have already hired him for two different projects!

Matthew is very hard working and extremely pleasant to work with. His quote for the caulking was very detailed and so I knew exactly what I would be paying for . The work was well done and completed in a timely fashion.

Matthew was also very helpful beyond the scope of the project. As he was working on my second story windows, he put in my screens that I had cleaned but was unable to reinsert from inside the house.

I have spoken to Matthew about work needed on my deck and shed and will be asking him to quote once I am ready to go ahead with those projects.

Matthew and Tony are very friendly, professional and were very easy to work with. They were able to complete the work in a tight schedule so we could get the cabinets installed and move forward with our kitchen reno.
