We had the entire foundation of our home parged. The workers removed the dirt around the foundation down about six or so inches below grade, parged the entire foundation, then refilled the dirt around the foundation once the cement parging was dry. The parging itself looks great! We initially had a concern about the way the dirt was put back, but the company addressed this right away and we were happy with how it was handled. The end product looks great and we are more than satisfied with the parging. Really improves the look of the exposed foundation. A separate review will be posted for our new front porch & steps, and backyard pad.
