I had a dead tree in my backyard. I contacted 7 highly rated companies from Homestars on August 13. Mike came the same day to give an estimate. The estimate of $500 sounded very reasonable, in fact lower than I expected. Nevertheless, I wanted to check with some other companies to see what they would offer. The next best estimate was $1200, which gave me a service date for mid September. So, I decided not to wait to hear from other companies. Mike and his team of 5 people came after on August 17 and finished the work in 2 and a half hours. And they did a great job leaving no waste afterwards.

What impressed me about Mike and his team were their positive attitude. They enjoy cutting trees. I did not hear any complaints or whatsoever during the process even though the dead tree turned out to be very dry and unstable. I recommended them to my next neighbour and will recommend to anyone who wants tree services.

We found Forestwood on Homestars and I can vouch for 99% approval rating - they were wonderful! I already had 1 person lined up to remove my hedges and they had quoted me $650 and they wanted me to pay extra for disposal. Forestwood came with a crew of "5" and a woodchipper and I paid only $350! Not only was the price fair, they were quick and tidied up everything. I was really impressed and happy. I have since recommended them to a friend and they were also very happy and impressed. I don't leave reviews very often but in this case, they deserve kudos!
