I hired Sauzteq Engineering Inc. to review my house structure, design a way to remove a load bearing wall and design to add second washroom and laundry room in the basement. Mohammad came on time, did the proper measurements and provided me with a cost effective design pretty quickly. I am very happy with his work. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Truth be told I had concerns when I started the process to find a good structural engineering and get a sloppy design costly back. Very happy to have found Sauzteq Engineering Inc.

Hired Mohammad to provide advice on removing a couple of walls for a residential basement renovation. Mohammad advised which walls could be removed, and where supports would continue to be required. He provided additional advice on repairing a crack on a 20ft wall and where structural supports would be required to support a modified staircase.

The company came to our home as promised, showed up on time, very pleasant. Did a great job reviewing our home and delivered our drawings a week post visit as promised. We were very pleased with the results and glad we hired them to come in our home and plan out our upcoming renovation.

I needed a structural engineer to provide me with advice and drawings on removing a load bearing wall and vaulting a ceiling. I sent a request out to Mohammad and received a reply within 24 hrs. (on New Years Day). We set up a site visit for the following Wednesday. Mohammad was punctual, polite and professional from the start. I was so impressed with his expertise that I retained him to include additional structural drawing for the removal and replacement of a load bearing beam and pillars in the basement and a relocation of a set of stairs leading to the basement. Within a week he sent me a draft of the drawings for my review and comment. Everything was clear and concise and upon my approval a stamped set of drawings were sent to me. I was very impressed with Mohammad's expertise, level of communication and timeliness on this matter and the pricing was very reasonable. He was very thorough in taking measurements and assessing the structure of our house. He has been punctual and easy to reach/responsive. He was patient and detailed in answering our questions, on site and on the phone. Most importantly, he provided us detailed and accurate drawings, as promised, within a week of his visit (and in them he was able to help us avoid an ugly post despite the tricky location and length of our load-bearing wall).

We haven't yet hired a contractor to complete the work but Mohammad has already indicated he is happy to work with our contractors/the city wherever his assistance is needed.

We were looking for an engineer who would draw a structural drawing of our house so that we could submit a permit to remove 2 load bearing walls and flush the bulkhead beam between kitchen and breakfast area.

We have interviewed many structural engineers for the job and our decision to work with Mohammad turned out to be one of the best choices we've made during this renovation.

First of all, Mohammad was very punctual and responsive. Whenever we or our contractors had a question, he always made himself available to us. If Mohammad missed our calls or messages, we always heard back from him shortly.
