Ramshaw Excavating & Landscaping

We had two trees in our front yard removed by Ramshaw Excavating and Landscaping. They were very professional and did an amazing job. The roots were huge and we were fully expecting our lawn to be destroyed after the tree removal but they did an amazing job of levelling out our lawn afterwards and leaving it in good condition.

Cliff came out and revamped our backyard. Professional, courteous, and very respectful of our personal space and Covid 19 safety. Not to mention our backyard looks amazing!!

The work was done on-time, under budget, and looks better then we imagined. You can't really ask for more then that!

Cliff and Jody were very accommodating of all our requests. From the start they were very patient -from the planning to the construction phase of the project. They were also very helpful to give us some of their input during the planning stage. Cliff and his worker were always on time, and they don't leave the jobsite without cleaning up and making sure everything is secured. We are very happy of our new landscape, and we are very thankful to Cliff and Jody.

Cliff and Jody are friendly and easy to talk with, good communication from first day. Cliff showed up to evaluate the situation on time, pointed out the problem and solution with his experience. Work was done professionally and finished ahead of schedule. Nice clean up before they left. Need time to check the basement seepage during frozen and thaw cycle, but I have the confidence that slope should not be a problem anymore, plus Cliff honored his work by saying will come back if anything happens:) so I have a piece of mind.

Ramshaw did a very impressive job with our retaining wall. They took our original idea and executed while making various improvements to the design. Cliff is a skillful operator and the variety of heavy machinery he is confident with is staggering. To top it all off his prices were very reasonable. Thanks for all the hard work everyone!

Ramshaw came in a did a general clean up of our front garden. All the work was done professionally from getting the quote where they asked a lot of questions to ensure they understood exactly what we wanted to completing the job. When they did the work they protected the grass and the in-ground sprinkler system and when everything was completed the area was cleaned up and swept.
I would recommend Ramshaw to anyone and if we needed any other landscaping projects to be done would definitely call on them again.

We looked for a reasonably priced company to do our French drain to stop water from coming into our garage. After talking to several companies and many of them telling me they either didn’t want to take on the project or telling me that there wasn’t anything I could do to fix my issue, I was referred to Ramshaw. They went over and above to do what we wanted. They were right on time to finish the project and couldn’t be more happy to have had them do the job. I recommend Cliff to anyone who’s looking to do landscaping.

Ramshaw completed work on budget and ahead of schedule. All aspects of project were handled professionally and in a timely manner. Exceptional effort to complete project before major thunderstorm. Cliff listened to what I wanted to have done, offered some feedback and provided an estimate on a timely basis. He showed up to do the work on the date he had indicated and completed the work ahead of schedule. He was careful to take care of the elm roots and took out the roots of an old cedar and apple tree that died the past winter, that was outside the project area. Cliff has a positive attitude, communicates clearly and works efficiently. The area was completely clear of any debris when the job was done. I would recommend his work to anyone considering landscaping.
