The service received from Sha Monique construction was excellent. The quality was very good. I would definitely recommend them for any bathroom project and will hire them again for future projects.

Sheldon and his team are amazing. We gave them a laundry list of things we needed/wanted to get done and Sheldon worked very hard to make sure we were able to complete all of the major needs and most of the minor wants...all with a reasonable budget. He was also able to take our ideas and improve them with great suggestions and cost saving ideas and brought our dream home to life. A full kitchen, ensuite, hardwood floors throughout, custom stairs, built-in custom cabinetry and crown moldings...all look amazing! On top of that, Sheldon rebuilt our deck with PVC to match our new pool being installed by another contractor and now both inside and outside are a show home...we HIGHLY recommend SMC and have already referred them to our friends and family. Thank you Sheldon!

I've worked with Sha Monique Construction on multiple projects and they never disappoint. I had my popcorn ceilings removed and my entire condo painted. I am thrilled with how my space turned out and highly recommend their services.

Moved into my townhouse about 5 years ago, and to my dismay the finishing by the revolving door of trades hired by the builder at the end of the project were pretty abyssal. The paint and caulk on my staircases were cracked within the first few months, and the builder's sad attempt at repair was to slap on even MORE caulk and paint on top of the poor initial job. The "before" pictures don't show the worst parts...it was pathetic!! After the work completed (i.e. this entailed scraping off the offending paint and caulk, priming, re-caulking and re-painting) these are the stairs I should have enjoyed from the get-go. It's a major improvement, and wish I had done this sooner. I'm pleased and no longer embarrassed by the condition of my staircases. Thanks SO much Sheldon @Sha Monique!

Sheldon and his team surpassed our expectations. This was the first renovation we have ever done and Sheldon was an excellent resource for us. Being that this was an old house it was very complicated and thankfully Sheldon knew how to handle the challenges and still get our Reno done. He was respectful of our budget and we appreciated his responsiveness at all hours. The outcome of our home is beautiful and we look forward to working with him on projects to come. Working with Sheldon and his team on this project was an absolute pleasure. Our scope of work included new floors in dining and living room, new kitchen backsplash, painting in living room and main floor bathroom, new vanity top in the main bathroom and more! Sheldon was quick to start on the work once we agreed on the quote, and was wonderful in providing some recommendations on flooring look and feel as well as some finer details to make our home look newer again. They put new tiles in my shower. They put grout with holes. Everything did careless. We said them don't come back to continue. They asked me let them continue and they will fix everything. They came to fix grout, painting, install vanity properly. They did something whole day. Put like new grout just visible. We open water , take a shower today and grout which " was fixed" started to fell down like something soft and holes appeared again in the grout. Because it is NOT GOUT. IT IS SOFT CHEAP material.
I sent email to his manager. He does not care, does not answer because we paid already. NEVER pay before you will not use a shower at least one week to see what happen.

Let me start by saying I had never heard of this company before.
I filled out the application through home star indicating what I was looking for and was advised a contractor would get back to me.

Sheldon came to my house initially to quote an addition I wanted in my children’s room. However, an unexpected electrical issue in my home changed everything! My basement lights, kitchen and upper floor guest bathroom went out. To say I was terrified is an understatement. The electrician who was supposed to do the job canceled and Sheldon made his services available. Sheldon and Leon were in my home from sun up to sun down( that is no exaggeration). I went to sleep stressed and left my husband with the team who tirelessly problem solved through so many scenarios. Sheldon and Leon did not leave, until the problem was found AND solution implemented.
What’s better than the dedication they showed towards my family’s safety, is the beyond reasonable price they charged us. Their compassion and integrity showed their true commitment to their craft! You want the job done and want to work with competent & integral contractors, Look no further. I look forward to future renovations and will definitely refer your services.

Sheldon and his team instaĺled 2 new basement Windows for us.. one of which was a new egress window. To do this they had to dig way down outside to install a proper drainage system.
The work was dirty and long but the guys were great. We are thrilled with the results and would recommend Sheldon and his team.

The team at Sha-Monique were highly recommended by a neighbour. Our first experience came when we were in the process of selling our single family home. The team were able to come in and completely renovation our home (including washrooms, crown molding and paining) on time and within budget. We were so pleased we had them come back and completely reonovage our new condominium including making accessibility adjustments and upgrading the full kitchen.
