A leak through our basement ceiling needed to be investigated (to find the source) and repaired. Greg did the investigative work, found the problem in the laundry room upstairs, repaired it and repaired the ceiling drywall in the basement. We're very happy with the result. Also happy with the quick reply from Shelli.

I have a backyard shed that had a dilapidated roof due to years of wear and animal intrusion. Shelli was quick to respond to my Homestars service request and Greg was quick to personally take a look and evaluate the job. In addition to dismantling and rebuilding the roof, upon my request, I asked for a quote to move one of the shed walls, lift the concrete slab floor inside, and re-build a length of fence that was adjacent to the shed. The quote was reasonable and Greg started upon finishing his current job.
Greg took his time to not only fix what needed to be fixed, but he also went above and beyond to reinforce the structure to make it last many more years. Greg did not "cut corners" and did the job right.
I would definitely recommend Harmony for any such project.

I posted a request on Homestars to find local contractors. Despite being busy, Shelli responded within hours and she and Greg made time to visit and review the site days afterwards. While onsite they reviewed the project while on the phone with me. I knew the existing decks seemed solid enough to retain the footings but while another contractor (recommended by a neighbour) insisted all needed to be demolished and restored from scratch, it was comforting to hear from Greg and Shelli that for a fraction of the price of the other fellow, we could have safe decks without needlessly rebuilding all of it. It is a simple cottage and we did not have a big budget. Thanks to Greg's and Shelli's honesty, we were able to get new decks, replacing, unsafe ones, all before the July long weekend! Not only was Greg fast and efficient, but he also created gorgeous decks that are wonderfully safe and sturdy! Being a cottage, we were not able to be there while Greg worked, to watch the progress but we felt as though we didn't miss a beat because Shelli was kind enough to send progress photos each evening! What a treat getting those photos! So easy to deal with, and in constant contact via text, phone or email. Shelli is clearly a big fan of Greg's work, she promised Greg was a speedy, detailed-oriented worker and she was right. It was a pleasure meeting them both, it gives me hope that I have found such an honest, hardworking duo for potential future projects. Thanks again, Shelli & Greg!

Fantastic company! Greg quoted the job, the price was fair, he showed up when he said he would and finished the job in the time frame he said he would. Now we have a beautiful deck to enjoy this summer and for years to come.

We reached out for quotes on Homestars and were quickly contacted by Harmony (Greg & Shelli). Greg came for a quote to redo all tiling in our master bathroom and to take out our old 1 piece Mirolin shower and put in a tile shower with glass door.

We got 5 quotes in total to get an idea of pricing and Greg’s was the best overall plus talking to him in person and seeing some of his work online we felt comfortable to give him the go ahead. He has a ton of experience in the industry. Before the work Greg gave us options and explained what could be done and what needed to be done. We also talked to Greg and Shelli on the phone before work started to go over start date, etc. and to answer any questions. We paid Greg labour plus the cost of misc supplies that needed to be used (reimbursement) and we were responsible for buying the tiles, grout and glass shower door.

We weren’t in a rush to get it done and let Greg work at his own pace. Greg worked alone but he’s a machine. He has every tool you would need, and made sure every detail was done properly. We work during the day and let Greg come in at his own pace. Greg was there everyday until it was finished and he was never there when we got home. But you knew he was there as you could see his progress everyday. Greg did it all, plumbing, prep, tiling, putting on glass door, everything. We’d rather have someone do it properly if it takes a bit longer than rush through, cut corners just to move onto the next job. Before tiling was even started Greg made sure everything was done properly underneath. Greg then picked up the tile we purchased and brought it to our house when ready to use.

There was also a leak and hole in our ceiling in the kitchen which was underneath the old shower that Greg fixed perfectly (took out old, put in new piece of ceiling and sealed properly).

Greg was very respectful in our house, kept things as clean as possible, putting down mats for him to walk on and vacuuming (his own).

We then had a delay because the glass door we ordered took a week or so longer to come, plus when it was ready, we couldn’t pick it up as it didn’t fit in our car. Greg was nice enough to pick it up and bring it to our house. He installed the glass door and was finished.

The finished product now looks amazing. Greg did a awesome job. Greg is an honest, hard working and real pro at his job. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again for a similar project or anything else for that matter and would definitely recommend him to anyone. We look forward to working with him again.

Greg recently overhauled our garage - re-insulation, re-taping, filling all holes and gaps and making our garage a properly painted, organized and well insulated room. Hi, apart from Greg being a nice guy, he is very experienced, talented and professional. My project was to replace an old 20 year old built in shower with a new shower stall and despite running into unexpected difficulties the job was finished on time and as quoted.
