Taras at Starlight Electric provided excellent service!

I've been searching for a reliable electrician for a few months to run cables and install an outlet suitable for welding, which needed the appropriate wires to/from the main panel to the sub-panel and larger breakers.

I was referred to Taras by a family member. I picked up the phone and called him, and he gave me a quote and ended up completing the job.

Taras works quickly but also takes precautions to ensure safety and does a clean and tidy job, stapling wires where needed and cleaning up after himself.

As an added bonus, Taras fixed my outlet issues outside my garage, which also fixed the power to my shed and other external lights within minutes!

I rate Taras @ Starlight Electric 5 STARS and will recommend him to those in need of an electrician, as I was recommended to him!

I wanted to put up holiday decorations outside but the outlets were not working. I called Taras to show up and troubleshoot the issue. He showed up at the exact time he said he would and he got to work. While he was around I got him to look at a few other outlets in the house that were a concern. I rated him 5 Stars. I'll be calling him back for another project and I have already recommended him to 2 friends.

Taras is a very knowledgeable, no nonsense guy, and he worked fast. He provided his honest and objective recommendation.

We were initially looking to upgrade our panel to 200A. After discussing with him the purpose for an upgrade, which included a provision for a new hot water tank we wanted to install, Taras determined an upgrade was not necessary at this time, thereby saving us money. He did a thorough review of our panel, removing any piggyback connections, and resolved the circuit connection issue that burned out the breaker time and again. The end result was a clean, safety hazard-free panel + a provision for our hot water tank, and labels to go with it. He charged us very reasonably, compared to other electricians we got quoted for.

We definitely recommend Taras. In fact, we are already planning to have him come back for another project.

We called Taras for our kitchen Reno. We needed the under cabinet lights installed, outlets added in our kitchen and installing our over the range microwave (that also needed an outlet). He explained everything well and was very professional. We set up a time and he came by and finished it all in very good time. He also communicated with our tile guy what needed to be prepared in the tile so that all would be installed seamlessly.

I had a bathroom fan that was in operable and was thinking that the Bathroom count-down timer switch was faulty, I replaced the switch but still the fan did not work. I put out a request for a quote to diagnose the problem and seek a solution on HomeStars.

Taras from Starlight Electric responded very quickly and within the week was able to physically diagnose the issue in the bathroom, and get the bathroom fan working properly again.

Taras is very easy to communicate with, highly responsive and was able to answer all my questions. He is professional, knowledgeable, with has a "lets get it right the first time" mentality.

Don't be concerned with the lack of reviews as Starlight Electric just joined Homestars in October, 2022 and Starlight Electric is in the process of building the business and acquiring clients. I would not hesitate to recommend Taras and Starlight Electric and will definitely use him again for any electrical needs I may have. Thanks again Taras!
