We hired George and his team to work on our full home renovation. We had a specific budget and from day 1 George was honest about what we could accomplish within our target budget, including contingencies. The biggest part of our job was the removal of a wall between a galley kitchen and the living/dining room. Every contractor that we had quote the job told us that the wall was not structural. George was the only contractor who encouraged us to have a structural engineer check out the wall before proceeding. The wall ended up being structural, which meant that we needed to do a beam across the space. While we were not happy to have to commit to an additional expense for the renovation, we avoided potential disaster.

George was very responsive to questions and requests throughout the entire renovation and stayed true to the schedule set out in our initial agreement. Our project consisted of a new kitchen, two full washrooms, flooring, baseboard, trim & smoothing of ceilings throughout the entire home, a new fire place insert & mantel, updated entryway, 3 new staircases, pot lights throughout and some other slight layout changes.

Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the results and would not hesitate to recommend George and Dream Kitchen Home & Design. He truly gave us the kitchen of our dreams. We have already referred two friends, who we are certain will be hiring George for their projects. The approximate cost shown is for the kitchen.

Dream Kitchen Home & Design is amazing!!! We had them completely renovate our kitchen as well as build and design a custom vanity and replace the tiles in our powder room and entryway. I'll be honest, when it comes to renovation I've always gotten nervous. As I've had some not so great experiences in the past with some jobs. We purchased our home from the builder, and were not too pleased with the kitchen that was built so we decided to gut it, and design a new one we were a but nervous, but I must say George, and his team at Dream Kitchens were just that, an absolute dream! They made the process so easy, and seamless I was actually surprised to say I enjoyed the process, from design to build. He was able to fulfill all of our requirements, and exceeded our expectations with the finishes. My wife was over the moon as everyone was neat, and efficient. George had great communication with us through the project, and was always diligent in following up with any questions we had along the way. He was even able to come under our budget without having to compromise our vision, or material. This guy is passionate about his trade and it shows! Big renovations are always stressful but with our experience with Dream Kitchen H&D our kitchen reno was a breeze. They were very professional and were able to deliver to my expectations.
