Davey Drywall

Dave made multiple visits to finish various wall repairs as we prepped our home for sale. One area required insulation which he installed. Dave is personnable and professional, responds fairly quickly to text messages and is flexible as the scope of work demands. I was impressed with him visiting on Sat to provide an estimate, and making that extra trip to ensure the job is done right (we had painters coming in). I would definitely recommend Dave!

Davey came into our home to tape, mud and sand two hallways, walls of a staircase and a fairly large entrance way that my husband had already drywalled lol. He was quite socialable, very proffessional and respectful of our home and did a remarkable job in a conscientious manner. He completed the job and clean up within our agreed time and the end result was very impressive. We would absolutely recommend him.

After we gutted our kitchen, Dave did a fantastic drywalling job, including a small powder room and soundproofing along a party wall shared with the neighbours. It wasn't an easy job, as the house was built in the 1880s and nothing was square or plumb. Dave showed up on time every day and left the space quite clean after the job was done. I was particularly impressed with how he transitioned the new drywall in the kitchen with the old lathe and plaster in the living room - it is seamless and looks amazing. I would definitely use Dave again in the future!

Bought a new house that had old popcorn in 2 rooms that needed repair. One room we put drywall right on top - the other skim coated to smooth. Dave knew exactly the right way to address both ceilings and repaired properly and quickly. I was super impressed by their cleanup and thoroughness - wish they did more than drywall as I'd hire them in a heartbeat!

I highly recommend Dave - he is a pro at what he does. He "saved" our basement after a very poor drywall job was done by another contractor. He was diligent and committed to turning around a bad situation. He spent many more hours than anticipated until he got the job done right. We appreciate his professionalism and will not hesitate to get him back for future jobs.

Dave and his team were a pleasure to work with. They were willing to work around my schedule and design challenges and produced great results. After priming the walls, Dave's team came back to do a final skim coating to eliminate any small imperfections. Great communication, always responded quickly and was easy to work with. I will be using Davey Drywall again on my next project.

I hired Davey Drywall to remove the popcorn ceiling from the livingroom, bedroom and hallway of my condo. Dave did an excellent job in about a week. Scrapped, plastered multiple coats and primed ready to paint. Dave was reliable, punctual and tidy. I would highly recommend Dave for popcorn ceiling removal.
