I had a new roof installed with terrible results and inadequate response from the installer. and significant damange to my ceilings, stairs, and furniture. I reached out to Homestars and received Michael of KY Roofing contact info. He attended immediately although the roof was frozen, repaired the leaking areas, provide a complete inspection free of charge with photos and videos and an excellent report. He came by multiple times without being contacted and at no extra charge to inspect the roof once the weather was better and to ensure the leaking inside had not re-occurred. My neighbour had a similar problem and Ky Roofing repaired her issues as well. My son had shingles fly off in a windstorm Ky Roofing attended on a Sunday to replace the shingles. Michael's professionalism and workmanship is excellent. A couple of my Downspout straps came off the wall thus the downspouts swinging around when windy.
Looked around for quotes and Michael but only responded promptly, but his quote was very competitive.
So I decided to go with Michael and he was great working around my schedule. He showed up on time and did more than I expected. He studied the problems , took his time not in a rush to make a quick buck, and answered all of my questions without hesitations.
I would definitely recommend Michael for any types of roofing or gutter/downspout jobs!

Yesterday morning, one of our neighbors, luckily, spotted what they thought was a hole in our roof (from their backyard) and gave us a heads-up. We were worried about timing of fixing because there was a thunderstorm in the weather forecast later that evening.

Fortunately, Michael stopped by the same afternoon to assess the issue. Luckily it wasn't as bad as we had thought and only required and offered to fix on the spot - so all was done within an hour. As a bonus, he noticed a few other shingles that needed replacing and proceeded with replacing them while he was already up there.

Since our roof is closer to end-of-life cycle, Michael also provided us with a free estimate for full replacement (which sounded reasonable).

Highly recommended based on our short-but-satisfying experience! We'll probably be reaching out to him again later in the year to discuss the full replacement.

Michael responded very quickly, came on time. Even in snowy conditions went to the roof to inspect what was wrong and find the source of the leak. He did a fix right away and the leaking stopped. Fantastic service with reasonable price and will definitely recommend his service without hesitation.

KY Roofing Ltd did re-shingling of the roof on one of our properties in May 2019.
They involved us in deciding the best color that will suit our brick colour. The workers were on time to start the job. They were respectful and displayed a lot of professionalism. They completed the job same day, cleaned up the old shingles they had removed and left the driveway clean. For safety, they had cones around to warn passersby.
They have a 10yr warranty.
Their pricing was excellent.
It is not surprising that when we needed roofing job on another of our properties we called on KY Roofing Ltd, again they did another excellent job at an affordable price.

Michael was the first one who responded to my work request at the HomeStars. He came, checked and took pictures of the damaged shingles and holes on the roof. He showed me the pictures and gave me an estimate of the cost to repair. The price was very reasonable and he fixed it right away. After the job he took pictures again and also showed me one spot that he missed so he also fixed it without additional charge.
