Ouri did a fantastic job, going over and above what would be expected. They upgraded my panel to 200A, and while we ran into some issues with Toronto Hydro, Ouri made sure that we would have power despite the re hook up not going as expected.

Our laundry room only had a 120v outlet...and not such a great washer and dryer combo. When it came time for us to get a new washer and dryer, we needed a dryer receptacle installed. We got a quick and very reasonable quote from Surrge. Our condo board also required some information from/about the electrician in order to approve our renovation request, and we were able to get it promptly from Surrge as well. Once we got the approval, we were able to schedule a time for the electrician to come within a few days.

On the day of installation, the electrician was available early and we were asked if he could start 2 hours prior to the scheduled time. We didn't mind one bit and it turned out to be a good thing. I guess we weren't clear about position of the electrical panel from the laundry room and how wires would need to be run in the ceiling to get there, but the electrician (Mike) pointed this out and said unfortunately it would have to be more than what we were quoted. Mike explained why, what would have to happen, how long it would take, and said it would be up to us if we wanted to proceed. He was very clear and friendly. No pressure what-so-ever.

We proceeded and he ran to Home Depot to get some materials since he was expecting something different. About 45 minutes later he returned and started working. He tried his best to keep things neat and tidy as possible...and tried to keep the number of holes he would need to make in the ceiling to a minimum as well. He left the pucks to help with the drywall repair as well. Overall, the work was relatively quick, and we were very happy with it all.

Afterwards, we were contacted with the final cost breakdown and paid online. Mike then contacted an inspector and scheduled time for him to come back and check on the work. He called to let me know immediately, and reminded me on the morning of the day the inspector came.

The whole team is very professional and courteous. We will definitely be using them again for future projects, which we chatted with Mike about so that would could get some ideas about what's possible, etc. while he was here as well. I highly recommend them.

Electrician showed up promptly. He was honest and efficient and solved our problem within the minimum time billed.

Very happy with Surrge from beginning to end. The quote was sent promptly with a follow up as well. They answered all my many questions and the day of the panel install they also replaced for light fixtures, corrected an issue with one of our outlets and of course the fan install in the bathroom. Everything was done on time and they explained all work completed to us at the end. thanks so much!

Edit update: although the initial job was done well I’ve been trying to contact this company for a few months now to come back and recheck some of the work. I have not been able to get a hold of this company either by email or even messages through homestars. I know they’re still in business because there are recent comments on site

Electrition was on time and the work was done super quickly. No mess, no hassle. Would call them again.

We just bought a bungalow and needed to update several of the plugs/outlets, remove knob and tube from one section, install a dryer plug, update the panel, and a few other things. Bill went through the house and made a list, we chatted about what needed to be done, and they went to work. Great team to talk with, very nice, and they got everything done for us in a reasonable amount of time. We'll be doing a kitchen reno in a few years and will absolutely ring them again for assistance with that.
