I can not say enough wonderful things about Jakub and Mark’s teams! From start to finish of our basement underpinning and waterproofing experience they were clean, tidy, on time, on budget, and friendly. We were kept up to date at every step of the way with project status, and never once felt like we were living in a construction zone. The team underpinned our existing basement as well as extended it, excavated under our kitchen extension. They were fantastic communicating with us as well as our dog and toddler. We live on a narrow one way street, some of the larger garbage bin trucks had a tough time turning with the surrounding parked vehicles, damaging a neighbours boulevard - however Jakub’s team immediately went out to shovel the disrupted soil and spoke to the affected neighbour without us even being aware, perfect service. 10+++ stars!

I have hired many contractors over the years and none of them have come close to how hard these guys work!
Not only do they quote the job, show up and do the job, but they are also are incredibly respectful and honest – words you don’t often hear in the trades.

We had them do some waterproofing at our house and then decided to have them do our underpinning as a result of their workmanship.

Jakub and Mark were mindful that we were living through all of the construction by being incredibly considerate and clean. You should see how they clean and line up their tools at the end of the night!
They explain everything that is going on, day by day, so there are no surprises.

I contacted Inside Guys to lower my basement after seeing their trucks in the neighborhood and looking them up on homestars. I first spoke with Milton who was very knowledgeable over the phone and made sure the project was a good fit. We booked an appointment to go over all the details and once the drawings/ permits were prepared the job was scheduled to start.

Jakub and his team were fantastic! They showed up everyday, they were extremely polite and very professional. I’m so happy with the results and that I had the Inside Guys work on our home!

There was an installation of a basement flush steel beam, post and structural wall. Jakub was knowledgeable and addressed all questions. The crew were competent, polite and a pleasure to deal with. The work site was kept in an immaculate condition throughout the job. We had no worries or concerns regarding safety and quality of work.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Jakob and his team at Inside Guys Underpinning. A lot can go wrong when underpinning so we were nervous about finding the right company. Once Jakob and his team started our project I was immediately at ease. They are extremely professional, responsible, trustworthy, honest, and very competitive with their pricing. They did exactly what they said they'd do both with the timing of the project as well as the costs. No surprises! At our previous home we went with a large company but the experience was terrible. There was a lack of professionalism, communication, and general site supervision. All of these bad memories and worries were non existent this time around.
