I had the pleasure and the privilege to collaborate with Gord. From beginning to end he was easy to deal with, knowledgeable, adaptable with an attention to detail to provide a quality project. I appreciated the less wastage approach to this project and the site cleanup when finished. He installed a beautiful deck and am looking forward very much to putting it to good use this summer and many more in the future.
His team of Brian and Kyle were approachable, friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. Kyle, going above and beyond, improved upon my design of the front patio steps.

We've used Gord (and Chuck) for two large backyard projects over the past year - the first phase was the addition of a large cedar storage shed and an automatic roller door for our parking pad, and the second a complete deck expansion/rebuild using composite decking product.

Gord was a pleasure to work with - creative, communicative and courteous. We appreciated the thoughtful design elements he brought to the project, including very slick integrated lighting, an architectural overhang added to the shed to provide a covered area to load into/out of the car and a built-in bar area on the deck facing out into the secondary "living" space in the backyard.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with our experience with Gord and his team at Woodbully. They were extremely punctual and kept a clean job site. He was possibly more excited and passionate about our project than we were, which made the entire process so fun and effortless for us. We are very pleased with the design, his innovative approach and how he was continuously patient and accommodating to our never ending modifications and requests. Gord and Brian at Wood Bully were very professional and accommodating. This review is long overdue, but we wanted to share how pleased we were with their work and the finished job. In the middle of summer 2020, they provided the services as agreed and they keep us informed of timelines due to supply shortages and challenges due to the pandemic. They were very proactive in providing solutions and the final work is beautiful.

Gord was instrumental in making out landscaping project a success. He built a beautiful deck for us and discussed details throughout the build. He is professional, skilled and adaptable. I always felt comfortable with him on the job and at ease talking to him about any detail of the project.
When some things needed to be fixed, he was accountable and came back in a timely manner without complaints.

Board gaming are expensive due to their niche market. The price barrier in particular for a custom table on Kickstarter or via specialized carpenters can be enormous. With this in mind, I approached Gordon to see if we could make my ideal board gaming table.

The ideal custom board gaming table for me had to meet two sets of criteria, the 1st was that it must also be my dining table. I needed it large to support 6-8 people comfortably, 6ft x 4ft was the ideal size. The 2nd being that from the top of the table to the bottom of the inside, it would need to have depth of approx. 4-6 inches. In the event that you wanted to avoid putting away an unfinished game, you could put the slats for the top of table back on and return to it later.

The table came out fantastic and I am the proud owner of a custom built table, made completely by Gordon. We communicated regularly throughout the process and not every idea I had worked out; but Gordon always made the effort to hear me out.
