Westcoast Modernscape

Our yard has been long disrepaired when we moved in, the bumped backyard paved floor, muddy side pathway, non-functional retaining wall are not enjoyable at all. When we approached Ray and Bryce for the project, Ray promised to transform my yard to a great living place, and they did it!
The project was kicked off late in Oct last year, not an ideal timing for outdoor work, very often they have to work in mud, rain and/or even snow, they worked very hard despite the poor weather conditions but did not compromise on the quality at all.
Ray and Bryce are professional and well experienced, the renovation have involved quite some customerised projects like an outdoor shower, kitchen and sauna, as well as concrete, pave stones, lawn, landscaping, driveway and irrigation. They are able to do everything landscaping and always come out practical solutions for those challenging tasks.
They are great builders, and they build it for good.

What started out as a (very old) retaining wall replacement and a rotted-wood fixing up for the back steps, ended up transforming our backyard into something new and functional! We now have a nice, wider retaining wall on which guests can sit on very comfortably, a new concrete pad for the steps and path to the garage, a new much-more-solid set of stairs and new grass. Can't wait for the next family get-together!

I had reached out to Westcoast Modernscape because they were well-reviewed and were one of few landscaping companies that do custom poured concrete. We were impressed with Ray and Bryces ideas and the prompt timeline that they had proposed. Since we hadnt received quotes from other companies, I cannot comment on whether their prices are competitive. However, they did fantastic work, were courteous, patient and responsive when we had questions or concerns, and attended to additional requests without question. All of the crew were a pleasure to work with and the end result is stunning - we are so happy that we went with this company and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Ray and the crew did exemplary work in recapping my home's concrete entry stairs and repairing and remortaring a large extent of granite retaining walls. The transformation is quite remarkable. They were fast and thorough, and executed the repairs with excellent workmanship. Ray was just a very fine person to deal with. Overall, this was an 11 out of 10 experience and I look forward to having Westcoast Modernscape back to do more work.

The team built a new driveway and drain. First class work. Took great care and even managed to save our inadequately buried fibre optic cable and repositioned it. First class work all the way.

Working with and getting to know Ray and his team has been a very positive experience. They are committed during and after the project. Dont hesitate to meet with Ray to review your landscaping project. He is very experienced and creative plus, I found him to be personable and reasonable.

We chose Westcoast Modernscape to redo our deck and patio because of the excellent reviews they received on HomeStars, and we were fully satisfied with the entire process, from the initial meeting to the final result. They were completely professional, offering useful and timely suggestions throughout, and taking pains to insure that we were satisfied at each phase. The final result was better than we had imagined it would be. Kudos to Ray, Bryce, Dylan, and Alex for their diligent work, especially in the heavy October/November rains. We have a fence project in mind for spring, and will certainly use Westcoast Modernscape again if they are available.

Cannot recommend Ray and Bryce from Westcoast Modernscape enough. We had an awkward space that many other contractors seemed flummoxed with. Ray and Bryce not only gave multiple ideas but delivered exactly what they promised - a top quality deck.

While other companies are content to give you the bare minimum, Ray and Bryce care about the quality of work they do. That is evident in the end product. We have received numerous compliments on this deck and are very pleased with the end product.
