SJOC Construction

We selected SJOC Construction due to their expertise in condo renovations. We renovated in a historic building, which made many charms, but also comes with unique challenges. Further complicating matters, we renovated during the Covid pandemic, which exacerbated logistical issues related to supply chain, operations, etc.

SJOC managed building and neighbour relations exceptionally well - we didn’t receive any building complaints during the process. The budget was adhered to and there were no surprises in this regard. Finally, there was great care placed on quality of construction, attention to detail and responsiveness to clients, right through to the deficiency review process.

SJOC is a reliable company with professional staff. I was very pleased with outcome of the work There were very few delays, and they were very respectful of the condo rules and regs, because unlike work in a house things can become a bit more complicated. Debris was cleaned up and removed on a daily basis. They also went to great measures to protect and tape off other areas of the apartment to try and reduce the spread of dust. The final clean up was done very well.
