Refinished our entire main floor on site hardwood. Hiro was very responsive, professional and courteous throughout the whole process. He is very knowledgeable, and patiently answered all of our questions. He went the extra mile to help us decide on a finish.

Hiro was great. He was knowledgeable and put in a lot of care while installing the hardwood I had previously bought. He removed and cleaned up the carpet that was removed. He pulled and put back the baseboards. He fixed a few squeaky spots in the floor before laying hardwood.

We hired Forest To Floor to replace a carpeted set of stairs with wood. We got three estimates and chose FTF to do the job. Hiro, the owner was on time, completed the job as he described and the estimate was fair, plus the stairs look great! Even the carpet installer mentioned the stairs were installed well.

I can’t speak highly enough about the professionalism, craftsmanship and eye to detail Hiro brought to refinishing our hardwood main floor and stairs In early November 2020. His estimate on cost (very competitive) and time were spot-on; he went above and beyond to ensure we found the colour we wanted; and his commitment to making sure we were satisfied cannot be matched. We couldn’t be happier with the final results and I’d recommend him without hesitation.

What an incredible job Hiro did! We had orange hand grooved wood flooring (just terrible!) with a very thin top layer. Hiro was able to meticulously sand these down to a light blonde oak. A light white stain and we now have the slightly distressed beach look I was about to spend triple the cost on all new flooring as numerous contractors told me it couldn't be done! I cannot recommend this service more. Attention to detail - nothing was rushed. We were able to do a test area under the fridge and then Hiro came back to try different stains in different lights/locations. It's been over a year now and the floors are in amazing shape. A+

I removed carpet on 2nd floor and put hardwood floor for my family a year ago. He helped to choose great and affordable hard wood and he did amazing job on my 2nd floor. I love his work, and I still have great hardwood floor on my 2nd floor.

Hardwood flooring: this was a very customized project. Superior knowledge, skills and ability resulted in a beautiful hardwood front entry in my home. The challenges with this project were that the front entry was an irregular shape, The new hardwood had to be customized to a discontinued engineered floor that ran through the rest of the house and a creative pattern was desired.
