Raj had a quick turnaround to come and visit my property, Gave me a solid quote which was detailed to the line item of every single task. He was clear in explaining all the risks and gotchas. He was responsive, honest and has loads of references, which is rare these days.

We are ecstatic with our new home. The people at Strategic Homes Group are amazing and great people to deal with. From the alluring exterior to all of the fine details inside, these folks gave us a place we are proud to call home. Raj, the builder, as well as his project manager were very flexible and accommodating, and met all of our needs during the construction process. They did the excavation, foundation, framing and flooring in house which saved us a lot of time. They also bent over backwards getting us in on time. I had purchased two previous newly constructed properties in Toronto that were delayed by six to eight months. Not this time. Any deficiencies, which are common in new construction, were handled with urgency and in a timely manner. The entire process was stress free and Raj always kept us up to date with the progress of our house. I can't say enough good things about these folks. I'll start with "thank you", but that hardly covers it!

We are repeat customers with Strategic Homes Group and very happy that we chose them again. We did a Custom addition and basement underpinning, including taking out a support wall in the kitchen and basement. We particularly appreciated how they minimized the impact on us by hanging curtains to keep the dust and debris out of the rest of the house. They managed to keep the existing kitchen functional while they took the wall out and then did the rest of the work so quickly we were only out of a kitchen for two weeks.
Also appreciated how they were able to accommodate some of the add-ons we asked for like re-doing the existing stairs and laundry hook-ups. We would recommend Raj to everyone we know.

I hired Raj and Strategic Homes Group to underpin and waterproof a 140 year old farmhouse in Stouffville, ON and he and his team were a pleasure to deal with. Dealing with a very old home requires someone with a lot of experience and technical expertise and I was very fortunate to have hired Raj. Thankfully Raj was able to do a great job! He was very professional in his dealings with the Town inspector and was able to anticipate any potential problems, again due to his tremendous amount of experience in the field. Raj is very courteous, respectful, honest, and honourable which I can attest to after dealing with him on a daily basis. He was very forthright during our conversations and during the entire renovation. He is a true professional! He also has very respectable and polite team of workers. As an example of how he operates he adjusted his timetable during the work so that I was able to accommodate other trades people. This saved me a lot of money. Raj also gave me excellent advice during the renovation that also saved me a tremendous amount of money. Again, I am very thankful! I would highly recommend Raj and Strategic Homes to anyone. I wouldnt hesitate to hire him and his team again. Thanks Raj!!

After meeting with other contractors, we had an opportunity to meet with Raj. I am delighted that we did as he potentially saved us upwards of $20K of needless reconstruction to our home. I am thankful that he didn't take the "quick win" by selling us unnecessary upgrades to our home. Instead, he chose to become a trusted individual who we will no doubt seek out again should a similar water situation in our basement occur.

Strategic Homes Group were extremely detail orientated, organized and truly cared about our project. Communication was also excellent during the entire course of construction. Raj was always responsive to our questions, concerns and needs. Deadlines and budgets were met. Raj and his team were professional and great to work with. Raj does Excavation, Foundation, Framing, Drywall, Insulation in house and passed the savings to us. That's one of the big reasons there were no delays. As they don't have to hire sub contractor.

We contacted several home builders to provide quotes for a complete renovation of all floors and finished basement of our 3000 sq foot house. We had some ideas of major changes (e.g. addition over garage) and also welcomed ideas from various builders. Strategic Homes Group was by far the most open to our suggestions, never said "it can't be done" and was honest in providing advice for things which would not add value or could cause issues in the future. Unlike other builders, you deal directly with the owner of Strategic Homes Group and they constantly communicate where there might be changes to the original estimate and work tirelessly going back and forth with architects and engineers to make your vision happen. We wanted a major change to the front elevation Raj spent many hours with us and the architect working behind the scenes until we were satisfied with the final design. We had many builders and contractors tell us that the ideas we were suggesting couldn't be done. Strategic Homes Group is now building the changes we requested without complaining.
While we are two months in the design and early construction, we have been very impressed with their attention to detail, constant transparency about the progress, and professional interaction with our family. Taking a 30-year-old house and doing a major renovation to modernize it and change structural walls, roof trusses, and masonry could cause other builders to panic or significantly increase costs but Strategic Homes Group has been great and fair thus far! You should not hesitate to give Raj a call to discuss your home renovation/full tear down and rebuild vision.

Strategic Homes Group is an outstanding underpinning group and one I am so happy I had connected to my project in Downtown beaches. Raj is incredibly helpful and in ways that extend well beyond the scope of his project. He made things so easy for me. He’s fully communicative and in one fashion or another goes completely above and beyond in every single interaction. His crew is no less awesome; courteous, keep the site clean, and are respectful and thoughtful when imposing on and interacting with the neighbors. The project was done beautifully,on time and on budget. Completely professional. It is a big project but honestly, Strategic Homes Group is a low-risk decision for anyone considering who to do their underpinning job. I’d recommend them every time and would happily reference Raj personally.
