We’ve had our stairlift for just over a year. I meant to schedule an annual service call back in March/April when the pandemic was declared. Just before the May 24, 2020 long weekend our unit became noisy and was hesitating while going upstairs. I called Home Stairlift late Tuesday afternoon, not even sure if the company was open due to the pandemic. A lovely woman answered the phone and arranged a service call for early Wednesday morning. The technician who responded was Carlos. He was amazing. He arrived within the time frame I was given and he was wearing a mask and gloves. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the motor and circuit board. Carlos also went over the entire lift, paying particular attention to all the safety features. He was very thorough and even made suggestions about moving the locations of the remotes so they would perform better. The unit is super quiet now and operating smoothly once again. My mother and I are just delighted. I am so impressed with this company, their staff and their professionalism and attention to detail. We got several quotes before we went with Home Stairlift. I had already decided to go with Home Stairlift when one of their competitors recommended them!
