Fridge Repairs

Our Fridge broke down after 2 weeks from purchasing. I tried to schedule a warranty repair on the manufacturer website, but Markham was not there, so I had to call the manufacturer. They scheduled an appointment for a repair through their maintenance company. Two days later, they called and changed the appointment. When they finally realized that they do not service Markham, they asked iCare to perform the service on their behalf. iCare was very prompt in reaching out and scheduling a visit. Their technician called 15 minutes before he arrived and was right on time. Apparently the compressor needed replacement. iCare reached out in the evening to let me know that the parts were ordered and service will be performed as soon as the parts arrive. iCare called and scheduled a service 2 business days later. Again technician was on time as usual and service was performed. Unfortunately, the equipment started failing after 12 hours of operation. I called iCare to let them know of the situation and their technician was back the next day. He double checked his work and nothing was wrong with his work. So he proceeded to troubleshoot further. A leak was found in the joint from the copper piping connecting to the condenser. The problem was attended to promptly and the equipment is running well. This was a manufacturing issue, that could have been avoided had the manufacturer performed proper quality control checks. iCare were there when we needed them, they were responsive and understanding, they fixed the problem and all was done under the warranty. They even called a few days later to make sure that the equipment is working properly and asked about our satisfaction. It is refreshing to deal with a company that cares about the customer and their reputation when most companies are after a quick profit. Based on my experience I will definitely recommend their services
